City breaks to Muang Phuket
“Sawadee kah” and welcome to Phuket! This popular city break destination lies at the gateway to some of the most beautiful island resorts of Thailand such as Koh Phi Phi and Phuket Island. Formerly a tin boomtown, Phuket offers some beautiful Sino-Portuguese architecture with grand 19th century mansions dotted around the city. The Provincial Hall (Sala Clang), the Puget Courthouse (San Changwat), and Nakhon Luang Thai Bank are all worth seeing. Take a tuk tuk tour around the temples of the city, such as Wat Chalong, and you will find yourself up on Khao Rang Hill with spectacular views of the city below. Extra stops at local jewellery shops are made specifically for tourists but there are gems to be found as well as impeccable Thai hospitality. Ferries to the islands leave multiple times a day but it is best to book your ticket in advance from a local tour agent or through our hotel.
Rent a room for your city break
