Bed and breakfast 15 mins from the Champs Elysées

Tout s'est bien passé chez Catherine,

We (dochter en vader) werden hartelijk ontvangen in een prachtig penthouse. Vriendelijke eigenaren. Uitzicht vanaf de slaapkamer op de eiffeltoren! 's Nachts heel stil, heel rustige locatie. 3 minuten lopen vanaf de Metro. Reden om nog een keer terug te gaan. Naomi en Joost

Ich habe mich bei Catherine wohl gefühlt. Die ganze Familie war freundlich und nett mit mir. Ich habe immer gut gefrühstückt. Das Zimmer hatte ein grosses Bett mit schöner Bettwäsche und ganz für mich mich alleine. Das kann ich für jede empfehlen. Ich werde wieder kommen.

Séjour très agréable. J'ai vraiment apprécié ces deux semaines au sein de cette famille. Je retiendrai leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et les excellents petits déjeuners !

Hallo! Mit dem Quartier war ich sehr zufrieden, es war sauber und ordentlich und die Familie von Madame Chatherine hat mich sehr herzlich aufgenommen und betreut. Frühstück war sehr gut und wenn ich sonst Sorgen oder Nöte hatte, wurde mir immer geholfen. Somit hat die Familie und die Unterkunft wesentlich zum Gelingen meiner ersten Paris-Reise beigetragen. Ich kann mich an dieser Stelle nur bedanken, natürlich auch bei Wimdu, die alles perfekt organisiert hatten. Herzlichst Andreas Lampe, Greifswald, Germany

Catherine was delightful and was only too eager to help us... even rustling up a quick pasta dish for my hungry 8 year old when I arrived which was well appreciated. We were immersed in french conversation so this is a great option for anyone wanting to brush up their French conversation skills .. even my daughter was speaking French by the time she left. However, there were a couple of things that i had not expected. Here, you are living with a family with strict house rules (and a bathroom the other side of the house) which although gives you the local touch and local support does come at the price of your own intimacy and flexibility. Showers were not allowed after 11 and at night we were expected to use another toilet. I also read on the instructions inside the door that we could not use the fridge ... we didn-t need too .... but i did come with the idea that the kitchen (and use of kitchen) was included. Maybe I misread something. The main question i did raise was how the B & B could possibly be 15 mins from the Champs Elysees? We were 5 minutes from the metro (very easy) but the metro took over 20 minutes to the Champs Elysees station ... the quickest we seemed to be able to do it in was half an hour. The area around the house doesn't have much to offer so everything really has to be done in town. However, the house has the most wonderful roof garden and terrace and would be a lovely place to relax (with kids) in the summer (the question is would one be able to put a cold bottle of wine to chill in the fridge?). Catherine and her family were delightful though ... great for those wanting to practice their French!

Que de compliments à faire ! En effet, il s'agissait de mon premier séjour chez quelqu'un (je n'avais alors connu que des hôtels) et j'ai passé 11 jours exceptionnels chez Catherine. C'est une hôte douce et attachante, qui est là pour vous et qui s'intéresse à votre bien-être. La chambre est impeccable. Le lit est confortable. les draps sont propres et sont changés régulièrement. La salle est tout aussi impeccable que la chambre. Les serviettes de bains sont changées, elles aussi, très régulièrement. Le petit déjeuner est servi en fonction de soi, il est très bon et très copieux. Vous l'aurez compris : je me suis senti bien chez Catherine et je recommande vivement Catherine. Gros bisous à vous, Catherine et encore merci pour tout !

Mijn verblijf hier duurde twee nachten. Mijn eerste B&B is me goed bevallen. Heerlijk kunnen slapen, een prima ontbijt en met aandacht voor je privacy. Op 20 minuten van het centrum, met de Metro. Dat het appartement niet precies in het echte centrum lag viel me erg mee. In het appartement 2 katten en een enthousiast hondje dat me al na 2 dagen blij kwam begroeten. Een zeer rustige kamer, ruim genoeg, met zelfs een computer die voor mij niet aan hoefde. Een aparte badkamer, alles erg schoon. Catherine heeft me spontaan geholpen met het vinden van de weg in Parijs, alles bij elkaar een hele leuke ervaring! Merci Catherine!
