In just 15 min. you reach the city center, Donau Insel or Grinzig the wine area of Vienna.
All of Vienna’s sights are within walking distance. In only a few minutes walk you will come across the largest and longest shopping streets in the city, a real paradise for shopaholics. The city centre and natural and art history museums are practically at your doorstep, while the world famous ‘Staatsoper’ is only a few minutes away. Reaching the public transport network is simple and in no other district in the city are you better connected than in the inner districts. There are a number of international restaurants (for example, the famous Vienna Naschmarkt). There is also an abundance of shops, galleries and parks only minutes away from the apartment. The Underground is only two minutes’ walk from the front door. The apartment is excellent for guests that want to explore the city, whether they prefer the historic or modern side of the Danube metropolis.
Not too far away is one of the most famous Viennese city highlights, Donauinsel and Prater, is located. It is extremely popular during the summer nights among the tourists and the youth of the city. Numerous bars, restaurants and clubs are located in Donauinsel, while Prater is well known to be one of the largest European amusement park and not only large size-wise but entertainment-wise.
If you travelling with the car you must also take into the account that the parking price per hour is 1 EUR and have a parking time limit of two hours maximum. However it is possible to take a safe parking place inside the house with a daily fee of 9 EUR - pls ask your host that he should reserve a parking place for you.
