Romantic Bedroom

A fantastic place. It's situated in the historic centre, less than 10 minutes walk away from the Duomo and all the rest but faraway enough for the tourist hordes to thin out a little. The apartment (one room + bathroom) is an old building, with original heavy wooden door and ceiling, is welcoming, roomy enough and perfect for couples, though travelling, platonic pairs could manage too. Daniela was very friendly and helpful and has obviously put a great deal of effort into making her guests as comfortable as possible. She lives right next door and is easily available should you need anything. Be advised though, that the room is on street level and so there's a lot of street noise. About parking: the apartment is just inside the Limited Traffic Zone. Arrange in advance with Daniela a parking place in a nearby garage. We paid €21 per day. Maybe there is a way of getting around that but it looked like it would be tremendous hassle to try.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserer Unterkunft. Sie liegt sehr zentral, sodass man zu Fuss alle Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen kann. Es war praktisch, dass wir einen eigenen Eingang hatten. Daniela hat uns einen Stadtplan und viele Tipps geben können!

Daniela et son mari sont des hôtes très charmants et vraiment très serviables car ils ont réservé pour nous une place de parking. Les non résidents de la ville n'ont pas le droit de circuler en voiture dans le centre, il faut donc utiliser des parkings payants (pour 4 jours nous avons payé 100 euros). Le logement est très agréable, propre et bien équipé. Il est très bien situé dans le centre ville car on peut faire toutes les visites à pieds (par exemple on est à 10 min du Duomo et à 20 min du Palazzo Vecchio). Je recommande sincèrement ce logement. Merci pour tout Daniela ! Daniela and her husband are very lovely and helpful hosts. They booked for us a car park. Indeed, the non residents of the city center can not use their car in the center, we have to use car park (4 days = 100 euros). The room is very pleasant, clean and well equipped. It is very well localised in the city centre. All our visits were made by walk (10 min to the Duomo and 20 min to Palazzo Vecchio). I highly recommend this accommodation. Many thanks Daniela !

These are remarkable apartments. Absolutely near from all sights. Apartments are on the first floor and has a separate entrance. Pleasant interior, very purely. Hostess Daniyela very pleasant person, that is certainly important for any traveler.

the room has been renovated with the necessary attention to the comfort and keeping the traditional style of the houses in place. lovely place and quit, although on the ground floor level. Thanks to the low level, the room was still very comfortable without ac unit, at temperatures outside reaching 38 degrees; have at least a talk with Daniela with regards to the local restaurants, and a must to have a visit to her art studio, where she is producing very nice artworks, based on techniques of the 16th century. if you want to taste the ancient feeling of Florence and the art and craft which was existing in this unique town, you should not miss this place.

Siamo stati ospiti di Daniela nella sua "Camera matrimoniale Romantica" per un breve weekend. Le caratteristiche descritte e le foto pubblicate rispecchiano effettivamente la realtà. Situata a 10-15 minuti a piedi dalla Stazione Santa Maria Novella e dal Duomo, la camera è ampia e confortevole arredata con gusto e curata con quei piccoli dettagli che rendono il soggiorno decisamente più piacevole. Dotata di ingresso indipendente permette una totale autonomia di movimento e di un bagno ensuite molto pulito e sorprendentemente spazioso. Anche se non dispone di un condizionatore d'aria l'ambiente risulta di per se fresco, comunque all'accorrenza troverete a disposizione un ventilatore elettrico. Daniela è una persona deliziosa, veramente ospitale e disponibile e con un gran senso dell'umorismo, tipicamente fiorentino. Ci ha anche fornito delle brochures con informazioni sui posti da visitare e dove poter mangiare. Giudizio assolutamente positivo, lo consigliamo vivamente. Ci torneremmo volentieri. Placed only 10-15 minutes walk away from Santa Maria Novella Central Station and from The Duomo, the room is wide and comfortable furnished with good taste and prepared with attention to the smallest details which make your stay much more pleasant. Equipped with its own independent entrance and with an "ensuite" bathroom very clean and surprisingly spacious. Even if there isn't an air conditioner the room itself is quite cool, anyway you can have an electric fan at your disposal. Daniela is a lovely woman, really hospitable and helpful and with an all Florentine great sense of humour. She has also prepared a good collection of brochures for information about places to visit and where to eat. Extremely positive opinion. We can highly recommend this accomodation. Daniela è una persona molto simpatica, gentile e disponibile. La sua stanza si trova in una posizione ottimale, a pochi minuti dalla stazione ferroviaria e vicinissima al centro; ha un'entrata indipendente e si è in totale libertà di muoversi. Noi ci siamo trovate benissimo e sicuramente ci ritorneremo.
