Notting Hill Apartment + Garden

This was a most delightful appartment: Everything was working and in order and exactly as promised. We were expected with the keys and felt like locals of Notting Hill! Tube station Ladbroke Grove ist a 3 min walk, bus # 7 to Oxford Circus almost on the doorstep, the heating and shower work perfectly -- and the whole atmosphere is comfortable and laid back. You should be in a good shape to be able to reach the platform where the bed is -- this may be the only small disadvantage. Thank you so much, Tim, we certainly will come again.

L'appartamento è delizioso, pulito e funzionale. Forse alcuni arredamenti sono un pò "vissuti" ma poca cosa. Al nostro arrivo (tardi, dopo mezzanotte) abbiamo trovato chi ci aspettava per la consegna delle chiavi. In casa c'era tutto il necessario e alcune piccole cosucce indispensabili per le prime ore, come docciaschiuma e caffè(!), grande! Zona splendida e tranquilla a due passi da Portobello. Molto romantico e vivamente consigliato.

A great apartment in a very quiet spot in Notting Hill. Warm, well-equipped and comfortable, and well placed for Ladbroke Grove tube station, and buses... Great, too, for pottering around Portobello...

Tim is such a great host and very nice and helpful. We felt very welcomed and loved the apartment. A perfect place to stay in London. Just 2min from the metro station and the portobello market in a nice area. The apartment is fully equipped and very cozy. A home away from home. We definitely wanna come back.

Great location and very cute apartment. We were less than a five minute walk to the Ladbroke Grove Tube stop, and we definitely made use of the Sainsbury market during the day and the open-late chicken places at night. Lovely neighborhood (I would recommend the nearby Makan Cafe for tasty, spicey, and friendly Malay food). The bookcase climb to the loft bed was a bit challenging and the loft area did get very warm, but otherwise, I was happy to have the warmth in the winter and Tim was an informative and helpful host

Superbe appartement typique dans un quartier à découvrir. L'appartement est conforme aux photos avec une décoration chaleureuse, on s'y sent vraiment comme à la maison, sans aucune impression d'appartement de passage visité par différentes personnes. L'accueil par un ami d'un ami de Tim était un peu pressant et l'appartement non chauffé à notre arrivée, nous avons tout allumé la première nuit, aucun souci par la suite. Le coin nuit est atypique mais bémol pour l'étagère à escalader pour aller se coucher surtout quand le matin le corps est encore engourdi. Bémol également pour le lavabo qui est simple lave main dans un angle. Pas vraiment possible de faire une petite toilette. Ceci dis les plus l'emportent quand même et nous recommandons!!

A fine location near metro and a friendly welcome. There is however traffic noise from a nearby highway and buses coming around the corner. And if you are not athletic it might be difficult to reach the sleeping plaform. Alltogether we had a good time.

Diese niedliche kleine Wohnung war die perfekte Unterkunft für uns. Sie ist sicherlich nichts für jedermann, wegen der Schlafmöglichkeit zu der man über eine Leiter klettern muss. Aber wir fanden es super gemütlich und konnten perfekt schlafen. Das Gefühl in Notting Hill zu wohnen strahlt diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall aus. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Apartamento situado en un suburbio al norte de Notting Hill, muy tranquilo y en buen estado. Muy incómodo para dormir, solo hay un colchón en un altillo con muy dificil acceso (se sube por unos tablones de madera) y más difícil bajar!!. Es claustrofóbico.Tuvimos que dejarlo tras la primera noche debido a este problema ya que mi compañera de viaje tenía problemas leves de movilidad y no podía ni bajar ni subir a la cama por lo que nos fuimos a un hotel. El anfitrión no apareció en ningún momento, solo un vecino nos facilitó las llaves y poco más. Cuando le informamos de las dificultades de mi compañera no nos dió ninguna solución ni tampoco quiso devolvernos el dinero de los días que no lo disfrutamos. Recomiendo no alquilar, hay otros mejores.

Très bon séjour dans cet appartement super bien placé , décoré avec beaucoup de goût et très fonctionnel. un petit bémol pour la mezzanine car pour atteindre le lit il faut grimper. Mais je reviendrais avec plaisir dans cet appartement pour mon prochain séjour à Londres;
