Private room for rent in a centrally located apartment on the border between Amsterdam's Oud West (Old West) and the luxurious Jordaan district. Within walking distance of the Anne Frank House and public transportation to museums and sights is just around the corner (literally!). Restaurants, supermarkets, and drugstores are all just down the street.
Our newly renovated apartment is situated right on a scenic canal. From our living room, we have panoramic views of the canal and old Dutch townhouses. The apartment is very light and spacious with many windows. My boyfriend and I live in the apartment so you will be sharing it with us. It is 106 sq. meters with 1.5 baths so plenty of space!
Your bedroom is suited for two people, but we can make room for a third if necessary. There is a bathroom with shower and a large separate bath. We also have two toilets so sharing shouldn't be a problem! You are welcome to use the large kitchen which includes the refrigerator and dishwasher. We will provide coffee, tea, juice and muesli. If the fridge is stocked, feel free to grab a beer as well!
You are welcome to use our bicycle to explore the city and there is a nearby bike rental shop if you need more. There is also a motorbike/scooter rental just around the corner.
We are a mid-twenties couple living in Amsterdam. We are happy to share any knowledge we have of the city - as we are still exploring it ourselves! We love meeting new people and getting to know them, but if you prefer a more quiet, private vacation, we understand that as well.
