Wonderful Flat in Bastille, Paris

Mooi appartement, dicht bij het centrum, met een stijlvolle inrichting. Vragen per email zijn snel afgehandeld en de afspraken zijn punctueel nagekomen. Het appartement was prima ingericht voor ons gezin met 3 kinderen: 10, 12 en 14 jaar. Wifi beschikbaar. Een aanrader voor anderen.

Very nice appartment with fully equiped kitchen and clean, bright, spacious rooms. Central location which makes it very convenient for visiting main attractions in Paris. A 4-5 minute walk to Gare de Lyon and Metro station. Has a supermarket near the entrance of building and lots of restaurants close by. The landlord has been very helpful and pleasant, we highly recommend it..

Die Bewertungen meiner Vorgänger kann ich nur bestätigen. Eine sehr schöne Wohnung, sehr sauber, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr funktionell. Als Ausgangspunkt für Städtetouren in Paris absolut geeignet. Ca. 2,3 Minuten zu Fuß zur nächsten Metrohaltestelle. Supermarkt im Haus. Unser 7-jähriger Sohn war an den Abenden damit beschäftigt das Spielzeug im Kinderzimmer auszukundschaften. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert und ein sehr netter Kontakt zu Cyril.

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön und mit viel Charme eingerichet. Die Lage ist ideal um die Stadt zu erkunden, die Metrostation ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ein kleiner Supermarkt befindet sich gleich im Haus und auch der Place de la Bastille ist in der Nähe. Cyril hat im Vorfeld alle Fragen schell beantwortet und war auch vor Ort sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Paris. Danke

Die Wohnung liegt in einem belebten Viertel in Paris mit sehr guter Metroanbindung (Bastille). Sie liegt zwar an einer befahrenen Straße,hat aber sehr gute schalldichte Fenster. Außerdem geht ein Teil der Wohnung auf einen ruhigen Innenhof. Sie ist sehr schön eingerichtet, was man auf den Bildern gut erkennen kann. Cyril ist ein sehr guter unkomplizierter Vermieter und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl in der Wohnung gefühlt. Die sanitären Anlagen sind einwandfrei und sehr gut in Schuß. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Durch den nahegelegenen fast täglich stattfindenen Markt hat man eine tolle Lebensmittelversorgung und am Abend gibt es zahlreiche kleine Restaurants in denen man es sich gut gehen lassen kann.

Cyril's email responses beforehand were always prompt and informative. We arrived at the apartment after a two block walk from the Metro station and were immediatly greeted by Margo, who was welcoming, gracious and accommodating. The apartment is on the 2nd floor (3rd as Americans count). There is no lift, but the stairs are wide and easy to climb. The building is charming and typically Parisian, although the entry and stairwell badly need fresh paint. There is a well-stocked market almost next door, and a block in any direction provides a number of cafes, restaurants, and other businesses. That particular block, however, is mostly residential with no businesses that stay open late,so At night it gets very quiet. You'll still need to close the front windows (which are nearly sound-proof), however, to silence the occasional motor-scooter or truck. The apartment's high ceilings and large windows fill it with natural light, especially the living room and front bedroom, both of which have nice views of the street. The updated kitchen is roomy and includes all dishes, full-sized refrigerator (which Margo had completely emptied for us), full cook-top, wall oven, microwave, and washing machine. There is no dryer, so use the two generous folding dryer racks provided. The clean, modern bathroom squeezes in a generous sink and full sized tub with shower, but with no room to spare. The separate toilet closet is clean and relatively spacious, but would benefit from updating. We all found the beds to be comfortable, even the fold-flat sofa in the living room (though some might find it too firm for their taste). Margo provided plenty of drawer and shelf space for clothes, but ask about a place to hang things if you need it. It's clear from the many personal effects that this is someone's home, but it still feels neat and uncluttered. Our 8 and 10 year old boys enjoyed playing with the toys they found in their room (though I ensured they were all returned neatly to their toy chest). Our full security deposit was returned promptly as we left. I would happily stay at Cyril and Margo's apartment again.
