Berkan is a really nice guy, he showed us around and gave us some tips. However the flat is careless, dirty, it should not have been rent. Or in case he wants to rent it, he has to lower the price significantly!! Because it is not worth for its price. Finally we had nice time there, thanks to our new flatmate too, however we would not go back there!

Excellent location and friendly host. We explored many sidestreets and mingled with locals. Berkan was very attentive and also showed us several "insider" spots with an excellent view of the city. The flat has a backpacker-traveller-feel. It's best suited for younger folks.

great journey in İstanbul, Berkan is really helpfull and always showing you places that you can't fınd in your guide book. the flat is in the center of İstanbul who is the center of Turquie!

living in the modern heart of istanbul we enjoyed our stay and spent a great time - there are so many hot spots to discover, so we were very glad to be guided by berkan. congratulation for beeing an excellent host and an architect !

We had a very pleasant stay at Berkan's house, the slot is perfect for 2 people and VERY quiet. Our host was friendly and warm welcome. The apartment is conveniently located in central Istiklal with quick access by tram up to historical district of Sultanahmet. Berkan indicates a complete list of restaurants, cafes, nightclubs and pastries typical for every taste and every budget, and within 5 minutes walk. A precious address to visit Istanbul.

It was a nice place to stay. It is very central in Taksim Beyoglu. The place is not a 5 Star- wellness-relax-silent place.. BUT it is one of the greatest palces i ever stayed.. the people are sweet, Berkan is a great roommate.. i asked him all the time a lot of things.. he was very patient :-) The place is a real student place... an old builiding with just the basic things you need to live,... it is very cozy and because its sooo central, ait is also sometimes little noisy... but if you like feeling the city in front of your door- there you can have it!!! I would definitly go back there, especially cause you feel you are joining the real turkish student life.... i wouldnt go there if i am like 50 years old and if i want to have a romantic time with my man... there is a lot of great action, which i loved.... of course you can also go alone to your room, but there you feel like joining the people cause they are so funny!!!!!
