Apartment in the near Center of Vienna

Nice and clean! Just for spending the night a perfect place to stay.

Beware!!! We had booked 3 nights in what looked like a great apartment. The day before we arrived I got an email saying there was a “hot water” problem, and we'd been moved to another apartment in a different part of the city (Sound familiar? See the review from March where another guest apparently encountered the same “problem.”) I protested, and got a token 60 euro reduction. When we arrived, the apartment door was jammed shut. My wife pushed against it, and it suddenly “gave,” pitching her onto the hard floor. She spent two weeks in the local hospital having surgery to repair a broken back. The owner couldn’t have cared less. He claimed she'd obviously tried to “force” the door, so it must be her fault. Yeah, she's a real brute - 5'2” (1.6m) tall, and 120 pounds (55kg). And what sort of property requires you to “force” the door to get in - or more importantly get OUT in an emergency? Avoid this one like the plague.

We were booked into the apartment in Rogergasse but then had to change apartments due to a broken pipe. Dr. Ezzati and his associate were kind enough to warn us in advance, as well as to provide us with a replacement at a discounted price (as it was less conveniently located for us as we wanted to be near family who did not live centrally). The caretaker of the apartment met us quite conveniently and answered all of our questions about the apartment. The apartment was spacious and very, very clean, and it was everything we needed and expected. We would rent with Dr Ezzati again.
