Description
Hello!
Since I moved out from Barcelona to live in Madrid, then in Milan and now back to Madrid, I am renting my house in one of the best areas of the town, the more modern area of the city, the district 22@. District 22@ is the innovation district, with a lot of space and very, very safe, sorrounded by green areas and on walking distance to the sea. It is also very well communicated with metro, buses and street car to the city center (in 15 minutes you'll be in Born and Plaza Cataluña), but you won't have to suffer the crowded and noisy streets of the other parts of the city, specially at night. In my house you'll be able to experience what it means to be a local in modern Barcelona.
The nearest metro stop is 2 blocks away, while the bus and tram stops are just in front of the building.
Since it was the house where I used to live and where I stay when I go back to Barcelona for the week-ends, it has everything you would expect to find in a house you'd be living, so it's also perfect for medium-term rentals. It includes a full equiped kitchen, TV, DVD, HI-Fi, air conditioning, super fast WI-FI, washing machine, dryer, iron and a hairdryer. I also provide, of course, fresh towels are linen, a welcome breakfast package and some other nice surprises. There is a double bed in the bedroom and a sofa bed for other 2 people in the living room. However, I only accept 4 people on an individual case by case basis, so don't hesitate to contact me anyway if you are more than 3.
The house is on the 6th floor of a modern building (see the pictures) overlooking southest, so the house is very sunny.
Discounts can be applied for stays of over one week except during the holiday period and important dates when there are major events in the city.
Before booking, please send me an email introducing yourselves a bit (i.e. who you are, what you do, your purpose of the trip... I don't know, the kind of things you'd like to know from someone that's going to stay in your house). Knowing you better will also help me to give you some tips of what to do and what to see in Barcelona. I'm an expert on exploring cities in an off-the-beaten track mood. To start with, if you come in the summer time, a nice walk during sunset will bring you directly to your drink in a chiringuito overlooking the Mediterranean sea.
Enjoy Barcelona!! I look forward to meeting you!
