Apartment near Piazza San Marco

We had 3 fantastic days in Venice staying at Paolos "hostel". He and his family run the place and are really nice and helpful. There are around 7 rooms with a sink in the room and 2 bathrooms/showers plus one extra toilet in the hallway. The sharing was no problem at all for us and the bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. We definitely recommend staying there, especially since it is reasonably priced for Venice and in a fantastic location right on the waterfront of the laguna near Arsenale. This means walking distance for everything and the luxury of staying on the main island. Thank you very much, Paolo.

We were warmly welcomed when we arrived. Paolo advised us where to find cheap eats and how to get to places by boat. The location is quite amazing. We could look out the window along a small canal. It is a short easy walk to the water bus which we used quite often or walked to St Marks Square. Happy to recommend this place.

The room offered by Paolo is very close to the Biennale of Venezia, so from this point of view very practical. Unfortunatly we haven't really seen Paolo nor his assistances. We felt like only beeing tolerated but not warmly welcomed. Noisy in the morning, the heating wasen't on, thus pretty freezing! On the other hand the coffee in the morning was nice. All in all we wouldn't choose this place again, sorry

Had a wonderful stay in Venice. The room was comfortable and the host was very accommodating, especially when we dropped the room key at a restaurant quite a distance from our room and Paolo said he would get the key for us the next day. Would definitely consider staying again in the future.

My friend and I were touring Italy for two weeks and used Wimdu for every stay. We felt this room was better than any other place we stayed! We enjoyed the location, the clean room, the view, and the friendly staff. The staff was constantly cleaning all shared spaces, and even provided fresh and ironed our sheets every day! We were really impressed by the location, because it was very quiet at night, yet very close to major sights in Venice. Our only minor complaint is that there is only one shower for about 5-6 rooms, so wait time for a shower can be long. However, compared to every other place we stayed, we felt this room was under marketed and well worth the value. We will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful night at Casa Favaretto, the host Paolo was really friendly. The room and the location of the apartment couldnt be better, and its a great place to stay in Venice for a night or several days!

This place is well located and we have enjoyed our staying in Venice. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
