Nous sommes enchantés par notre séjour à Salvador de Bahia et par la Casa Redonda. Cette maison est exceptionnelle par son architecture, son confort, sa situation. Le personnel ( Nana, Loana et Ericson) est remarquable. Le parlé Portugais est indispensable pour bien communiquer. Itapua est un quartier bigarré et très animé mais la Casa Redonda est dans une zone tranquille. Nous avons adoré. Le centre (historique) de Salvador est à 30 km. Nous y avons accédé par bus (ligne à proximité) mais c'est long (1h30), puis par minibus (nous étions 10... dont 6 enfants). Les contacts, très cordiaux, avec Alain, se sont faits uniquement par mail. Nous avons rapidement eu toutes les informations que nous souhaitions. Alain est très professionnel et amical. Aucune déception. Bref des vacances de rêves, bien trop courtes, qui présagent un deuxième service, le plus vite possible...

Zentral gelegenes, gepflegtes Apartment in der Altstadt von Salvador. Trotz der Nähe zu vielen Lokalen, doch ein ruhiger Ort mit tollem Blick über die Baia de Todos os Santos.

Alain, this is a HUUUGE thank you from everyone bitterly missing Itapua. We've come home to snow, can you believe it?! The villa really is more beautiful, more wonderful and more perfect than we could ever have expected. Please pass on our thanks to Nana one last time. She really was wonderful and went above and beyond when looking after us all. Anybody planning a trip to Salvador who wants to be close to the city with your own bit of on the beach heaven - this is where you need to stay! Ciao!

Die Wohnung ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sauber und sehr zentral. Sehr guter und freundlicher Kontakt mit Alain. Er hat mir sehr geholfen. Die zusätzlichen Stromkosten, was ich wusste, waren deutlich unter dem angegebenen Preis. Also alles in allem sehr gut und wenn ich wieder in Salvador Ferien machen werde, dann sicher wieder in einer Wohnung von Alain.

Great stay in Salvador. Alain is a super responsive property manager. He was able to connect us with a local guide, too, and was happy to make a call in Portuguese on our behalf when we were trying to arrange a schooner trip. I highly recommend booking an apartment with him.

Beautiful two storey appartment in a lovely central area, the northern part of the Pelourinho, though the kitchen is, oddly, very small if you're intending to cater for yourself. Fantastic view over the bay, a few yards from a small cable car to the 'lower city' (cost - 5 pence). We stood in the pool singing 'Sitting on the Dock of the Bay' as we watched the ships roll in. If you want beach, though, it's a twenty-thirty minute bus, (or probabaly fifteen minute taxi), and I'm not convinced Salvador warrants a full week on its own.
