Central Room with Special Feel

Schönes sauberes Zimmer, 10 Minuten bis zum Termini (Hauptbahnhof), Zentrum ist gut mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Gastgeberin ist sehr nett.

Eva a été présente sans être envahissante et nous a gentiment donné quelques conseils et orientations pour nos visites ainsi que de bonnes adresses de restaurants ou gelateria... Très bien ! La chambre est dans le quartier étudiant, il y a donc une certaine activité nocturne mais les gens sont sympas et la chambre bien isolée. Il s'agit donc bien d'une chambre et non d'un appartement comme cela était inscrit au départ dans l'annonce, cela change beaucoup de choses.

Eine der besten Unterkünfte, die wir je hatten! Die Individualität und geschmackvolle Einrichtung des Zimmers sowie die geniale Raumnutzung haben uns sehr begeistert. Dank Evas Insider Restaurant Tips und des untouristischen Studentenviertel San Lorenzo konnten wir uns fast ein bisschen wie Einheimische fühlen. Eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft die wir jedem wärmstens empfehlen können!

We are a mature couple who enjoy travelling in ways that are perhaps a little unconventional for people of our age. We often book apartments when travelling instead of staying in hotels. We have visited Roma several times and feel a great affinity for the city. Though we have never previously stayed in the San Lorenzo district where Eva's apartment is situated . It was very interesting to explore the San Lorenzo area. There are many excellent restaurants in the vicinity and the whole area throngs with the younger set in the evenings and long into the early morning, with people dining out or hanging out in the many small bars and clubs or just chilling out in the Piazza Immacolata. If we were 30 years younger we too would have participated instead of just being spectators. Eva was an attentive host and eager to give good advice and tips about the local area. Before we arrived she sent us a detailed map of the area and information concerning public transport very considerate. We were out and about most of the time and Eva too was busy so we didn't have much opportunity for conversation. Which was a pity as I got the impression that she is an intelligent and creative woman. The physical facilities were excellent clean and spacious for a single room with a connected bathroom. The sleeping loft over the bathroom is an ingenious idea creating a cosy little haven to dream away in. There are interesting original pictures and collages decorating the room -obviously Eva's own creations. The only factor that could be a drawback for people visiting Roma for the first time and who have tight schedule is that the public transport to the central tourist attractions can be a little time consuming. But riding the trams are a great opportunity to study and observe the "locals". And if one is more daring - like us- there is an great bicycle rental place where you can rent well maintained bicycles and whizz around Roma faster than by tram and bus. Check out Top Bike Rentals Via de Quattro Cantoni 40, Roma about 2 miles walk from Evas flat. While I'm at it I'll recommend dining at Soulfood Restaurant just across the street from Evas flat. Superb cuisine in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere to reasonable prices...now on our list of favourite restaurants while staying in Roma. As you can imagine we can recommend staying with Eva and we would definitely consider returning to stay again on our next trip to Roma. Irene and Lorne Lathey Copenhagen Denmark.

La camera è molto particolare, la pulizia era ottima ma soprattutto la proprietaria è stata molto disponibile e gentile. Da consigliare!

We spent 5 days here and strongly recommend this room for a perfect stay in rome! Not only that it is a nice room + bathroom (with cool artworks on the walls :-) ) in an old beautiful house, it is also situated in a cool neighbourhood, close to the university district, with nice restaurants, bars, second hand shops, record stores and everything what makes a traveller happy who is young or young at heart :-) It is located quite close to the city centre (10mins walk to the next underground station Vittorio Emanuelle), and the good thing on that is that you can have your good morning espresso in an authentic athmosphere for non-touristic prices (as you find them in the centre), as well as your dinner (what we really recommend). Eva is a really nice host. She was really helpful and had the best tips for restaurants, bars, shops, and exhibitions, off the beaten tourist tracks.

A comfortable and clean room which offered intimacy. A very nice district to eat, have a drink, melt with the local people. and Eva and her boyfriend are as welcoming as not inquisitive. We felt at ease during our trip. We recommend this location !!

Eva is very nice and hospitable! She will answer all your questions and also knows some good places to eat. The apartment was spacious and clean with a bus/tramstop around the corner. We really enjoyed our stay!

nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Rome. L'appartement d'Eva est exactement comme dans la description, il est grand, lumineux, l'espace qui nous été réservé est très bien agencé, propre, convivial... l'organisation de notre arrivée s'est très bien organisée avec Eva qui est très soucieuse que les choses se passent bien pour ses hôtes. Elle nous avez envoyé le plan du quartier avec la ligne de bus pour arriver chez elle et communiqué toutes les informations nécessaires pour notre arrivée. Par ailleurs Eva est très sympa, le quartier où elle vit est populaire, vivant, près de l'université, un bus vous amène directement au centre historique.. nous vous recommandons vivement de réserver chez elle
