Hackescher Markt, Prenzlauer Berg, Torstrasse, Scheunenviertel, Synagoge etc. directly in front of the apartment (Bus 142).
LOCATION - AREA
It's a spacious and central apartment with a piece of yard. It is perfect for a couple.
The apartment is in a old heritage-protected building and common, simple furnished.
It is situated right next to the Hauptbahnhof, the Art-museum
"Hamburger Bahnhof" and the Nature-History-Museum. The Government with Reichstag is easy reach by foot. The spacious park "Tiergarten" is not far too. The area is a central no man’s land, like Berlin used to be shortly after the fall of the wall. Next to the apartment is the river "Spree" and there was the Boarder which splited Berlin in East and West. A huge area that
is not yet overtaken by tourists but very central. By foot you can reach the Kunstmuseum – in which you can find the famous Restaurant Sarah Wiener, the Regierungsviertel (government district), the Tiergarten (park), the Potsdamer Platz (there is a cinema with english-speaking-movies), the Spree river, various art
galleries... Various shopping facilities (24-hour pharmacy, supermarket, bakers) at the Hauptbahnhof, also a bike rental
station (DB-Call a bike). It is not far to Friedrichstraße (Berlins champs d'elysee)
and to Torstraße with nice Bars and Restaurants.
