Liverpool holiday boat "Albert Dock"

We absolutely loved staying in the Joker Boat. The owner was friendly and efficient to transact with and the boat itself was extremely clean and well maintained. We would definitely recommend it as a place to stay and hope to try and come back if we can book the Yellow Submarine Boat for another trip to Liverpool.

For a family of five, the idea of a luxury boat apartment in the centre of a buzzing city took some beating. And when we discovered the 3D TV, limousine transfer, and Hollywood movie connection, then the deal was immediately sealed. This is a great fun experience in a fantastic location. You can see the Big Wheel from the kitchen window as you rustle up a TV dinner in the spotless kitchen. You can watch a movie in any of the bedrooms before drifting off to sleep. Or you can stumble a few hundred metres home from a gig at The Echo Arena. This may be The Joker boat, but it's no joke. It's the real thing and this family loved staying on it. We're looking forward to its twin brother, The Yellow Submarine coming to join it in the spring. I stayed on 'The Joker' for my annual college reunion with 5 ladies, some of which flew over from Liverpool. We were greeted at Liverpool airport in an amazing stretched party limo by the wonderful friendly Brian. The boat is completely amazing - the owner has 2 which are of the same first class quality (both bedrooms were lovely!) with really nice shower, proper loo, glass washbasin, heavenly heating, 3-D cinema TV, washing machine, etc. We even had to take the bedding for the sofa bed out of the packaging. Fantastic location - you simply can't get any closer to the Albert Dock. This excellent double width boat felt really luxurious with no expense spared - we simply had the best time ever and we've been meetinng up each year for almost 15 years! I could not recommend this accomodation more highly. Parked at the nearby Echo arena which is about 3 mins walk away and around £10 per day.

Stayed at the Submarine for 2 nights with my family of four. Plenty of room for all of us. Well appointed and comfortable. Enjoyed the Beatles Experience. Alfie friendly and easily contactable. Would recommend.
