The Temple Street Night Market is sometimes known as Men's Street as it is very popular for men's fashion. The market starts at 2 p.m. in the afternoon, but is lively at dusk daily. Traffic is closed on the street at that time, and visitors swarm into the street. There are more than a hundred stalls with colourful lights in the market. There are carts bulging with goods from clothing to mobile phones and watches. Stalls have items mainly for men, jeans, t-shirts, pants, lighters, shoes, condoms and men's accessories. Cheap merchandise is common in the night market. Cheap second hand goods such as cassettes, video tapes, old newspapers, antiques are also sold there. Like in other night markets in South East Asia, prices can always be negotiated by bargaining.
If one has to buy merchandise in Temple Street, one has to hunt for shops hidden in streets behind the stalls rather than looking in the stall themselves. This is one of the uniqueness of Temple Street Night Market.
There are various convenient stores and supermarkets around. They operate for 24hrs and 7 days. It would be no worry for getting commodities for you stay.
As a travel hub, there are two lines of MTR, and numerous bus routes passing through.
So that means, you can go anywhere in Hong Kong within 1 hour.

12 mins to Central, Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai, or Causeway Bay

40 mins to Ocean Park

Reviews for this host's other properties
This apartment was booked for our stay however we moved to a different apartment a little time later. Since we were there quite some time, I'll factor in all the positives and negatives in this review. HongKong apartments are small and designed to fit more people in lesser space, but we didn't expect this tiny of an apartment. It was the four of us in the apartment and we couldn't fit in the "family" room (it is not like we're giants). The house is equipped with basic necessities including: a washing machine, water heater, stove, Television and internet. The kitchen in the house was designed to fit just one person as it was compact after the washing machine and water heater was stationed in there. There was a 'Master' bedroom and a 'kids' bedroom that had a double bed and bunk beds respectively. The beds can't accommodate for a human that's taller than 6 feet, like myself. The bunks were decent in size. The sofa shown in the picture was exaggerated as it could, at maximum, seat 1.5 of a human. There's absolutely no space to stand in the bathroom as the toilet seat is placed right next to it. Overall the house was furnished with all the basic essentials, however there isn't sufficient space to place everything. That's the inside of the house.
The apartment was located on Floor 18 (i think, it was high up), right in front of the Ladies Market, which could prove to be noisy if you're staying in the lower floors. The house is within walking distance of MANY good restaurants and retailers too. (Make sure you bargain). The house is within 5 minute walking distance from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station which is pretty good as we used the trains everyday through our stay. The Rail Network in HongKong is beyond great, it wouldn't let you down, however, don't be disheartened if you dont find a seat. Overall, this house is situated at one of the best locations and it's highly recommended to book this apartment if you're only going to spend the nights, not otherwise.
The owner of the house are generally nice and they got us cheaper tickets to OceanPark.
