South London - south of the River - Zone 2
I am offering a double room with the use of a bathroom in my home which is conveniently located for Central London and the West End.
A simple breakfast is included and other meals may also be offered but at extra cost. Please do not assume that all meals are included or that cooked breakfasts are a given.
My guests are more than welcome to join me in the living room in the evenings. They can watch TV and use the internet connection (WiFi) at their pleasure. My aim is that my guests should feel 'at home' so the use of the piano and garden (Summer only) is welcomed also.
Feel free to ask about Holistic Therapies (services offered by a fully qualified health practitioner/acupuncturist - Member of the British Acupuncture Council). This is at extra cost.
Emily-dog is very much part of the household and wanders freely so only people who are dog lovers are encouraged.
We are located three stops (less than 15 minutes) away from London Bridge Station and less than 30 minutes away from Victoria Station by overland train. The house is situated three minutes away from the train station itself and opposite a Bus Station with buses leaving for all parts of London and beyond.
We are in a residential street just off the main high street which offers basic shopping amenities for the local community. This is a very colourful, vibrant, ethnically diverse neighbourhood in South East London so be sure to read up on the area and decide whether or not you want to be south of the river & are comfortable staying in this part of London before you book. This area is home to many artists and writers.
We are close to Peckham Rye Park, Nunhead Cemetery & the trendy Bellendon Road area. One can take a short bus ride to fashionable East Dulwich and Camberwell.
Frank's trendy roof top bar is worth a visit in the summer and the younger crowd enjoy Bar Story.
