Best holiday in a friendly atmosphere, Karolina's Room #1
We are situated in a village called Vrbica cca 10 min drive from Dubrovnik center.
There are busses running relatively often (with the bus timetable I give you upon the arrival it is very easy to plan out your holiday). Taxis can be as well used to travel around.
Karolina's room no.1 has A/C and a balcony. Depending on which bathroom will be occupied the guest will have a choice between a shower or a bath. In case you come with a family with children we suggest you to book as well Karolina's room no.2 or Karolina's room no.3.
The guests are free to use the kitchen facilities, there are 2 fridges at disposal so you can keep your own groceries in one of them without the fear of mixing them with the other guests, an oven, kettle, toaster, all basic dishes needed to cook a meal.
In case the guests wish to make the barbecue there is a fire place on the ground floor free for use.
Wifi is free of charge, just ask me or my mother to give you the password.
Pick up from the airport could be organized with extra charge, though be prepared for a drive in a very old car :)
In order to get to the beach you just need a 5 minutes walk and you'll find the local village pebble beach.
If you ever get bored here in Vrbica, you might want to explore all the beauties of Dubrovnik and its surrounding area. But I will tell you all about anyway upon your arrival :)
There is big private parking for guests arriving with a car.
My mother and the owner Karolina speaks German and Croatian, while I, Natasha, her daugher, speak English, German, a little less Italian (but enough especially with the help of web dictionaries :)) and Croatian.
Minimum stay is 3 nights, however we accept shorter reservations but with 20% supplement on the price.
PLEASE NOTE that we are very flexible towards the prices especially when depending on the season time and booking status- the price can always be negotiated :)
House rulesPlease leave the kitchen clean after you have cooked and eaten because it is a shared kitchen, so it is not fair to the other guests to leave it unclean.
Another reason is that we are in a village and surrounded with nature, therefor I ask once more to pay attention to the cleanliness-no crumbs on the kitchen counter or the rest of your dinner in the sink as they will attract ants.Nobody expects you to rub the kitchen for hours but to please just take these little steps.
My mother and I regularly take the garbage out and have a look at the kitchen conditions but we can not guard it for 24 hours, I hope you can understand this :)
If you have any organic disposals/garbage from fruit, old bread etc. you will find a box at the window where you can dispose it. My mother has chicken and makes compost as well. She is big fan of ecologically grown food :)
At the window you can as well leave all empty bottles and we will remove them (glass, plastic...).
Unfortunately, Croatia doesn't recycle paper yet, so don't worry about this, just throw it in the bin.
As you can see, loads of text, but very simple house or better said kitchen rules that I am sure you do anyway at your home :)
