In this charming apartment you will feel like home, having close the main amenities of the city while living in one of the most beautiful streets.
The accommodation is located in the Jordaan district which originally in the 17th century was built in order to accommodate working class people and immigrants. It was a poor district with small houses and slums, every little room stuffed with families and lots of children. In this neighbourhood the famous Dutch artist Rembrandt used to live in his unsuccessful times. Nowadays the Joordan is compared to the rest of the town an oasis of peace with a labyrinth of narrow streets and little canals, nice for strolling around courtyards, art studios, and monumental buildings with stone tablets, old-fashioned ‘brown’ pubs, boutiques or galleries. Just on the boarder of the neighbourhood you can find the Anne Frank’s House.
The location of the accommodation is rather central and easily accessible by public transportation. From here tram 3 can take you to the Museum Quarter, tram 10 can take you to the party area (Leidseplein) whereas tram 13 and 17 and busses 348 and 358 can take you to Central Station.
