An airy and spacious double bedroom close to Portobello market with excellent Wi-Fi connection and easy access to commute options.
The flat which is on the first floor of a beautiful old house with high ceilings and big windows. It is located only a few hundred metres from Ladbroke Grove tube station, and is a good size for two. You'll also have the place to yourselves as I'll only be letting out when I plan to be away.
The flat is simple and stylish. It's recently been redecorated with new electrical radiators and wooden floors laid throughout. The kitchen is compact but well equipped for a short stay with small cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer, etc. There isn't a washing machine but there is a laundrette just across the road. The shower can be temperamental - so if you need a power shower every morning this flat probably isn't for you. There's no TV but you can use the WiFi. The house is on a bus route - which is very convenient but can be a little noisy at night. There's one double bed, with a fold-up bed and spare duvet in the cupboard.
Notting Hill has many cafes, bars and restaurants and, of course, the market - which mainly happens on a Saturday, but there's a reduced antiques/clothing market on fridays/sundays and a fruit and vegetable market most days. There's a Sainsbury's supermarket 100 metres away (open 7am-11pm). And we're well-appointed for transport with many bus routes (which run throughout the night) and the tube - which can take you into London's glittering West End in 30-45 minutes (depending on time of day).
