Grundsätzlich finde ich Wimdu sehr gut. Allerdings wurde mir die Adresse der Gastgeber zu spät mitgeteilt. Ich fand die Unterkunft nicht und musste die erste Nacht in einem teuren Hotel übernachten.... die Gastgeber können nichts dafür, dort war auch alles bestens. Bitte nicht kurzfristig über Wimdu buchen. Wenn die Anfrage dauert, bekommt man die Gastadresse nicht rechtzeitig mitgeteilt!

Ich habe eine Woche bei Doan und Karen gewohnt. Sehr nette, freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber. Die Unterkunft ist 5 Minuten vom Sky Train entfernt, der einen in 15 Minuten in die Innenstadt bringt. Ich würde Doan und Karens Unterkunft jederzeit wiederwählen! Daumen ganz hoch!

We spent two days at their place. We really enjoyed the time. A comfortable accommodation and very friendly hosts!

We were there in aug 2012. When we arrived no one was home, but when we called someone was sent quickly. They gave us the room in the basement and the shared bathroom there. The bathroom wasn't clean. Fortunately there were no other guests in the house so we could get moved upstairs to a room with a very small private bathroom, which was clean. That room was good for what we have paid. Ask for that one. The linen etc were clean. The owner Doan is nice, but we didn't see him a lot. Wife and kids were on holiday. Last day of our stay there were four pairs staying at this place, so we were happy with our private bathroom!! Wifi is good.. You can wash your clothes for free plus with the sky train from Joyce station its easy to get to Downtown. Takes 20-30 min.

I missed my connecting flight and had an unexpected stopover in Vancouver. Doan and Karen were kind enough to accept my last minute request to stay at their place. I had a lovely stay. My only complain was that the walls and ceiling seem quite thin and I was woken up by their young crying children. Other than that, I recommend the place.
