Rua S. Julião is a Pombaline street of Lisbon, located in the parishes of S. Nicolau and Madalena, who got his start in the Rua da Padaria and end at Largo S. Julião.
It was formerly known as Street Aljibebes, however already being referenced in the Tears of Maria Parda by Gil Vicente as "the street of San Gia." After the earthquake of 1755, the decree of November 5, 1760 was officially given the name of Rua S. Julião, being defined the aljibebes (sellers of clothing) as the leading craft.
