Alles sehr schön in Paris und bei Valerie! Dazu ist Valerie auch noch sehr zuverlässig, pünktlich und sympathisch. Perfekt. Das Apartment ist bis in kleine Details sehr schön eingerichtet und sehr gut gelegen. Restaurants, U-Bahn, etc. alles ganz nahe. Auch zu Fuß nach Notre Dame / an die Seine ist in 15-20 Minuten gemacht. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

We had great stay at Valerie's studio. Even though our arrival was delayed, she waited for us and made us feel very welcomed, giving us many local knowledge. Apartment was beautifully decorated and clean. It is located in an area full of nice local shops, cafes and market. We really enjoyed it. Very close to metro station and many attractions were within walking distance. You will have great Paris experience at Valerie's apartment! Highly recommended!

We stayed in this magnificent and majestic studio apartment for ten days, experiencing its elegant décor and functionality, and the delights, excitement and culture of its neighbourhood. It is accessed via a narrow spiral staircase of just over 50 steps. It's located in a charming neighbourhood: - centred on a community square – Square Saint Médard <http://tinyurl.com/cldlces>; - with a street market of quality fresh fruit and vegetable stalls <http://tinyurl.com/92aydxm>; - bursting with cafes, restaurants, bars and shops including a bakery-patisserie, cheese shop, asian deli and a large and well-stocked grocery shop; - with entertainment by musicians, buskers and chiming of the bells of the Church of Saint Médard <http://tinyurl.com/8wszenu>; - with dancing adjacent the Church to French and other music at a community festival; and - with railway station, Censier-Daubenton Metro, a two-to-three minute walk from the apartment building. We made little use the excellent cooking facilities, preferring instead to eat out in some of the many nearby value-for-money cafes and restaurants offering a great variety of cuisines. We experienced above average warm weather conditions, but coped well with the aid of the apartment’s high quality, lower noise fan and opened windows (not too wide as to invite in pigeons). The “FreeWifi” signal in the apartment was weak and at times non-existent, as noted in other guests’ reviews. However, our iPhone received a strong signal in a nearby street (Rue Mouffetard) and so we were able to logon and access the “FreeWifi” network. It seems as though “FreeWifi is a service supplied by Free.fr. And, finally, we endorse the many glowing and positive comments made by other guests about, Valérie. We met her for a short while as we departed. She negotiated a good deal with a “difficult” taxi driver to take us to Opera railway station, from where we caught a bus to Charles DeGaulle Airport. With the wisdom of hindsight we decided to avoid again the “pain” of trying to navigate the Metro and its stairways with our heavy luggage. In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment and its neighbourhood, which offered all we had hoped for, plus a lot more – it exceeded our expectations. Thank you Valérie.

I took my mum to Paris for four days this year and we stayed at Valaries apartment. The apartment is as beautiful as the pictures and very functional. The apartment is very light and there was enough space to feel like we weren't in each others way when we were in the apartment. The bed is big and comfortable. The apartment provided a relaxing retreat from our shopping and site seeing. We didn't realise how fabulous the location was until we started our site seeing. The metro is a two minute walk away which gave us access to all of Paris. The area itself is full of bars, restaurants and markets. Valerie was a lovely host and incredibly helpful. I will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in Paris.

Unser Paris-Aufenthalt wurde zu einem ganz besonderen Urlaub durch dieses wunderbare charmante Apartment mitten im Leben von Paris. Man kommt sich sehr schnell vor wie ein Einheimischer was den Paris-Besuch besonders macht. Das Apartment ist mit allem nötigen (und mehr) ausgestattet und hat eine bezaubernde Atmosphäre - die speziell verträumte Pärchen oder Honeymooner zu schätzen wissen. Auch ist man sehr gut an die Metro angebunden und für ein gutes Abendessen braucht man nur um die Ecke gehen, es gibt eine große Auswahl an Restaurants in direkter Nähe. Supermarkt und Bäcker liegen gleich vor der Haustür so steht auch einem guten Frühstück in eigenen vier Wänden nicht viel im Weg. Valerie ist super freundlich und kann jeder Zeit mit Fragen belästigt werden. Einziger Beisatz: der Aufgang kann sehr schwer (oder gar nicht) von gehbehinderten Personen genutzt werden - enge Treppe in den 3. Stock - trägt aber sonst zum besonderen Charme bei. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen - wenn man hier einmal residieren durfte, wird einem etwas anderes nicht mehr gefallen.
