Your home in the castle São Jorge!

Pleasant small flat inside the castle walls with nice views. Accommodating owner . The location is very central and the flat is even in daytime on a quiet lane. Although one has to get used to the free roaming peacocks and their nightly cries. With all the advantages regards to the location it also means that during opening hours of the castle the nearer surrounding is governed by large amounts of tourists, as most parts of the Alfama are. If you don't mind that, being a tourist yourself, the place is perfect.

Charmantes Studio `on the top of the hill`, excellente Lage, sehr ruhig und trotzdem ist der Rossio zu Fuß erreichbar. Ausgesprochen gastfreundlicher Empfang. Leider war das Wetter die ganzen Tage über sehr nass, die Fenster liessen sich durch die Feuchtigkeit nur schlecht schliessen und die kleine Heizung kam kaum gegen die Kälte an. Garderobe zum Trocknen der nassen Mäntel und ein Schrank wären gut gewesen.

Micheal and myself have been well taken care of by our host Alo. Went over and beyond of what one would expect of a host. We had a drink with Alo in a cute bar which he brought us with good music and vibe. Apartment was sparkling and had such tasteful deco for those into vintage. This would be the perfect apartment. Excellent location, walking distance to many places. Taxis are not expensive to and from the city if you are lazy. Costing less than 5 euros each time. Very quiet apartment making it perfect yet close enough to the city when you need it. There is an excellent restaurant round the corner about 3 mins on foot by a husband and wife duo, three table restaurant; highly highly recommended, as with this apartment!

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt mit einer zauberhaften Umgebung. Man kann direkt auf den Burghof schauen. Im Hinterhof der Wohnung befindet sich der Schulhof einer Grundschule, was wir sehr amüssant fanden. Der Besitzer der nostalgischen Wohnung ist unglaublich nett und zuvorkommend. :)))))) Gerne immer wieder! LG aus München

Een leuke studio midden in de oude stad. Charmant en pittoresk. Wel bereid zijn om de heuvel op te klimmen. Sanitair is eenvoudig maar oké voor enkele dagen.

Квартира находиться прямо возле центрального входа в крепость святого Георгия. Очень милая, уютная квартирка. Очень понравился район Альфарма, в которой он расположен, пропитанный старинным духом.

We had some really nice days in Lisbon. This place in the castle Sao Jorge was a great location. We loved to stay there and to be in the middle of the historic centre. Both views, to the river and to the castle were quite impressive. We felt most welcome by our hosts. The flat was cosy and very nice equipped with all we needed. We can warmly recommend to stay at this place when you're visiting Lisbon.

Nous avons passé un formidable séjour à Lisbonne, l'appartement a largement contribué à la réussite de ces vacances, mignon, cosy, calme et décoré avec goût, les vues sont juste exceptionnelles (vue sur le tage d'un côté et sur le château de l'autre)...au coeur du quartier, on ne peut que savourer....

Idéalement situé (dans l'enceinte du château et accessible à pieds des différents quartiers) et très bien équipé, l'appartement est parfait pour découvrir Lisbonne à son rythme. Le réveil avec le chant des paons et la vue sur le château resteront parmi les beaux souvenirs de ce voyage!

We are truely enchanted of this sweet little flat, located directly next to the castel! You have a great view in both directions: castel and the river Tejo. We had everything we needed and felt really at home. In the evening time it gets calm as if you were in a small village. We had a wonderful time and the hosts are super sympathic!
