Charming Room in the Centre of the City

Unser Eindruck von Teddy ist positiv, in der Tat ein netter und hilfsbereiter Mensch. Leider hatte er vergessen uns einen aktuellen Veranstaltungskalender um den wir vor ab gebeten hatten, zu besorgen. Wir haben dadurch etwas Zeit verloren. Auch die recht zentrale Lage der Wohnung ist gut, die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel sind rasch zu erreichen. Ein Fehler unsererseits wird wohl gewesen sein, dass wir aus der Beschreibung nicht deutlich entnahmen, dass die Wohnung zwei Zimmer hat und beide Zimmer wohl öfters an Gäste vermietet werden. Die Wohnung ist sehr hellhörig und die Zimmer sind nebeneinander und durch eine schlecht geschlossene Doppeltür verbunden. Die Zimmer sind nicht abschließbar. Man hört jedes kleine Geräusch und muss höllisch leise sein, die Nachbarn nicht zu stören. Lässt keine richtige Entspannung zu.Die Ausstattung ist nichts für Menschen mit Anspruch, das charmante Zimmer ist schlicht ohne Charm u. hat keinen leeren Schrank zum Ablegen der Klamotten, Bettwäsche und Handtücher haben schon bessere Zeiten gesehen. Die Küche eignet sich nicht wirklich gut zum Kochen, es fehlt eine Kaffeemaschiene.

NOTE : 2/20 Lieu très sale : lit avec des draps plus que douteux, chambre envahie de détritus, armoire remplie de vêtements d'on ne sait qui, table cassée et très abimée, vitres ne laissant pratiquement pas laisser passer le jour et j'en passe....Que dire de la cuisine et de la salle de bains !!!!! Nous sommes reparties tout de suite.....en nous hébergeant dans un hôtel. C'est dommage car cet appartement en colocation pourrait être correct avec des travaux et un nettoyage sérieux, car il est situé en plein centre de Budapest. Il est impensable et même malhonnête de proposer cette location. Notre hôte n'a pas voulu comprendre. Par conséquence, je demande impérativement le remboursement de cette location, soit 136,88 Euros..

We had a great time. The location is excellent and Martins who met us was very friendly and helpful and recommended places to visit/eat and looked up anything we wanted. Teddy was equally friendly and helpful and knowledgable not just about Budapest but other places we might visit in the future. the room is large, clean, well kept and a traditional old property with ceilings, shutters and a well kept kitchen and shower. The bed is also large and comfortable and there wer extra blankets etc as needed. The only reason not to give 5 stars is a mix up in the booking information which resulted in us paying a charge for an extra person although the information request clearly the number from the start. Having said that, the service was exactly as advertised and I would recommend Teddy and Martins to anyone.

I stayed in the main bedroom, which was lovely in a beautiful old building. The host's friend who was managing the flat was friendly and helpful. I was lucky to have nice, quiet neighbours staying in the other room (the living room). The location is great: an easy walk to downtown, the Market, Gellert baths, and on metro line 3, handy for airport.

Bra läge, och både handukar och lakan ingick. Fin lägenhet men det är bara ett rum! Trevligt mottagande.

It was really nice holiday for me. The room was clean, and very big, the bed was really comfortable and clean sheet, apartment was in the middle of the city center and Teddy was really very friendly guy that helped me very much. thanks for everything.

staying the 2nd time within a year at teddy`s flat I can only repeat that teddy is a very friendly person (never met him personally but the e-mail contacts were very sympatic and serious). The organisation was again perfect and I am sure that in case of any questions or problems teddy will quickly concern.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr günstig in fußläufiger Entfernung zur Donau. Zur U-Bahn und Tram sind es ca. 5 min. zu Fuß; vor dem Haus fährt eine Buslinie Richtung Zentrum; Das Haus ist ein reizender Altbau, etwas abbröckelnde Fassade, aber sehr hübsch. Die Wohnung hat eine sehr kleine Einbauküche mit Kühl- und Gefrierschrank, Gasherd, Tisch, zwei Sitzgelegenheiten. Die beiden Zimmer haben eine verschlossene Verbindungstür, was bei lärmempfindlichen Leuten schwierig sein kann. Unser Zimmer war nicht abschließbar. Der Wohnungsmanager Cornel war sehr angenehm, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Dusche und Bad waren sauber, Bettbezüge und Handtücher ebenfalls, aber älteren Datums. Die Baross St. ist zwar klein, aber (auch nachts) recht laut. In der Nähe ist ein günstiger ABC-24-Stunden-Supermarkt. Uns hat es alles in allem sehr gut gefallen. Es können maximal 2 Parteien gleichzeitig dort wohnen.

The room is really comfortable and big, and the flat is located in Budapest's city centre. It's important to know that it might be noisy during the night, because the two rooms Teddy rents are directly next to each other, so that you can hear the other guests (if there are any). But we were happy to be there. Teddy is very communicative and friendly!
