Siedlaz Apartment 1 (211653)

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral und geht von der Jaffa Road ab, durch die auch die neue Straßenbahn fährt. Damit eignet sie sich hervorragend, um Jerusalem auch zu Fuß gut zu erkunden. Die Übergabe der Schlüssel verlief sehr unkompliziert und Nir ist ein sehr freundlich. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt die Wohnung sehr modern. Leider war sie schlecht geputzt. Das Bett war nicht frisch bezogen (Haar-, Schmutz- und Fusselalarm) und die weißen Handtücher auch nicht mehr ganz so weiß. Da die Wohnung im Souterrain liegt, hat sie aber noch ein anderes Problem. Im Bad roch es sehr stark nach Schimmel. Das lässt sich aber sicher beheben. Der Luftverbesser war kaputt und konnte dementsprechend auch keine Feuchtigkeit entziehen. Kleiner Hinweis: Die Parkplätze vor dem Haus sind auch an Samstagen nur für Plakettenträger frei. Kleiner Tipp: Jerusalem hat einen tollen Park and Ride Service: Am Ammunition Hill kann man sein Auto kostenlos tagelang parken und dann mit der Straßenbahn in und durch die Stadt fahren.

Small Appartement , but at a great Location in the Heart of Jerusalem City. Nir is very helpfull and flexible host.

Logement très bien situé. L'hôte nous a très bien accueilli. Par contre, logement propre, mais de qualité médiocre. Globalement, c'est décevant.

L appartement est sombre, pas de fenêtre dans la salle, néon obligatoires toute la journée.Nous avons eu des petits problèmes de propreté à l arrivée, qui ont été résolus. Je ne conseillerai pas cette appartent pour un long séjour et surtout pas pour une famille, a deux ça passe. Le point positif étant l emplacement.

The apartment on Shatz Street, Jerusalem is conveniently located near Ben Yehudah. We had the worst storm in twenty years and it was somehow difficult to keep warm. In summer it might have been more agreeable. If you stay more than a few days, you must bear in mind that there will be no change of linen and towels unless you request it from the owner which we learn only at the end of our stay. If one prefers a hotel, there is one across the street that is quite affiordable and offers a breakfast. The pictures on the net are somehow misleading.

Dit is zo tegenvallen!!!!!!!! De fotos lijken geweldig. Het is veel kleiner in het echt.Ik was hier alleen met 2 zou het ook gaan, maar voor 6 personen , volkomen belachelijk. Het was vies, keuken was zelfs voor 1 persoon ontoereikend. Er was 1 klein kookplaatje, moest een kwartier aan voordat het water iets ging borrelen. Op de grond lange zwarte haren, douche bah ....!!! TV was kapot. Ik kom hier nooit meer terug. En het was te duur voor wat je krijgt. Ik heb bij deze onzichtbare verhuurster geklaagd, ik mocht een nacht langer blijven, ter compensatie, nou echt niet, ik wil gewoon een financiële tegemoetkoming want dit klopt echt niet.

Personnally, I will note come back in this hole. Cette location est un désastre, la moitié de ce qui est présenté dans l’annonce est faux. This place is a disaster, half of what is in the ad is not true. Wimdu ne nous a pas du tout aidés. Wimdu did not help us at all. L’appartement ne convient pas aux enfants. It is not suitable for children. Il n’y a pas moyen de cuisiner. There is no possibility to cook. Il n’y a pas d’intimité dans le local. There is no possibility to have privacy. La Salle de bain pue, il y a de la moisissure noire sur la fenêtre, la porte de la douche est rouillée. The bathroom stinks, there is black mold on the window, the shower door is rusty. The place is very small. Le local est très petit. Le balcon/terrasse n’existe pas, c’est une dangereuse décharge pleine d’ordures. There is no balcony/terrace, it is a dangerous garbage yard. There is only one air conditioner, very noisy. Il n’y a qu’un climatiseur, très bruyant. Les tuyaux d’évacuation des eaux usées de l’immeuble sont collés aux murs du local, vous entendez tout. The pipe sewage of the building are bonded to the walls of the place, you hear everything. Il n’y a pas de parking. Vous trouverez des parkings autour, payants, autour de 50-60 € par jour. There is no parking at all, you will find a lot of parkings around that you will have to pay around 50-60 € a day. Le propriétaire est invisible. The owner is virtual. Les photos sont trompeuses. The pictures do not reflect the reality. Si vous cherchez sur google, vous trouverez d’autres critiques négatives sur cette location, tapez : Siedlaz rental Jerusalem. If you google this : « siedlaz rental Jerusalem » you will find other people negative advice. J’ai demandé à être remboursé. I have asked to have my money back. J’attends toujours. I’m still waiting. Location was awesome. So was aircon. If wanting to cook or eat with utensils byo cos there is minimal there, maybe ok for two people. On assurance that 4 out of 6 would be in a bed and 2 on fold out couch, it proved to be only one real double. Toilet paper and hand towels/bath mat scarce. Outdoor area described was nonexistent.

We (47; 38; 3,5; 0,5; 86 years – Germany and Brazil) travelled 11 days in Israel in May 2012. We booked a day in advance only, for one night only – thanks Emma, for accepting us! We really liked the apartment, very clean, cosy, not very large, but okay, well located close to Ben Yehuda and Yaffa streets, with pedestrian precinct and Old Town (tram 2 stops) nearby. We would always take it again and would have stayed longer, but had unfortunately follow-on bookings already.
