The Dappled Dachshund - LES - BnB

I would like to thank David for the warm and personal welcome at his home. I have had a wonderful time there. I felt like a local. The aptartment is very well organized, inviting, room has view to the street and is well equiped. It is quite quiet at night. David helped to find destinations I wanted to see. And the banana bread is it! Yes indeed! The flat is located closed to public. I had a very good time for my first trip to NY due to this place. I will definitely choose it again when I return. Thanks you David.

Einfache aber zentral gelegene Unterkunft mit nettem Gastgeber!

L'appartement est situé à proximité d'une très intéressante ligne de métro (F) dans un quartier sympa et animé. La chambre et l'ensemble de l'appartement sont propres. La chambre est petite mais si on ne fait qu'y dormir : c'est suffisant. Le petit déjeuner est très correct. Quant à David, c'est un hôte à la fois disponible, serviable et discret. Merci encore pour ton accueil et surtout pour le pot de "crunchy cookie butter" , un délice !

David is a very nice host, who makes you really feel at home. The place is cosy and very clean, also close to the subway station. It can be recommended in every aspect.

We had very pleasant stay at David's. His house was near the subway station. David was very kind and helped us making plans during our stay. He reminded us to make a reservation for ground zero and even printed out our tickets. He also made bananabread everyday. It was a nice bed in a room with air conditioning. Overall a very lovely stay, so thank you David and Earnest!

Mir hat es sehr gut bei David gefallen. Das Zimmer war zwar klein, aber es hatte alles, was man braucht. Ein großes Bett, Einen Kleiderschrank, Nachttisch mit Radio und ein Regal mit einer Tassimo Kaffemaschine - da konnte ich schon vor dem ersten Wachwerden meinen Kaffee genießen. David ist sehr sehr nett, sehr ordentlich und sauber, hilfsbereit und sein kleiner Dackel Earnest ganz süß!!! Beim Frühstück habe ich mich für tägliches Müsli mit einer Banane entschieden, was ich sonst noch hätte genießen können, weiß ich nicht. Die Lage fand ich auch super. Den Süden Manhattens konnte man bequem zu Fuß erkunden. Insgesamt vergebe ich 5 Sterne - wenn ich wieder nach NY reisen würde, würde ich mich wieder für die Unterkunft bei David entscheiden.

very central ,cozy appartment in a lively bar and restaurant area -very convenient for young people ;) we would have actually expected a bit more of 'the breakfast'

We enjoyed our stay at David and Earnest a lot! The apartment is really cozy, tasteful and for us a kind of at home! The banana bread, the homemade bread - we loved it! David and Earnest are really social and David's advices were some of our best experiences in NYC!

We stayed with David for 5 nights and it was great! The house was very clean and David was a perfect host. His selfmade bread was just delicious. You didn't have to go far for the metro. It is just a perfect place when you want to discover New York. Highly recommended!
