Stylish Designer Loft in Brooklyn

l'appartement était confortable et visuellemnt tout à fait conforme à notre attente mais nous n'avions pas de fenêtre ce qui ne nous avait pas été notifié . De plus , 3 velux se trouvaient au plafond mais les stores étaient baissés et il était impossible de les ouvrir . Le mécanisme était en panne .Personne n'a pu le réparer ce qui fait que nous n'avions pas de lumière extérieure si ce n'est la petite clarté qui passait à travers les fentes des stores .Ceci a nui à la qualité de notre séjour : il n'était pas agréable de rester dans l'appartement .NOus avons demandé à changer de chambre : il y en avait beaucoup dans ce lieu mais ceci nous a été refusé .

Ein super Hotel zum Wohlfühlenmit sehr gutem Service . Freundlich und zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Zwei Stationen mit der Subway und schon ist man am Rockefeller-Center. Wer möchte wird mit dem Hotel -Taxi kostenlos zur Subway Station gefahren oder abgeholt. Sehr empfehlenswert!

For us it was the perfect base to visit New York. Big and clean rooms with manhattan view, perfect service especially the friendly boxhouse-taxidrivers, subway and eastriver-ferry nearby. We had great evenings in nearby lobster joint and great coocies in milk & coffee not to forget the brooklyn icecream-factory. Thanks to the whole boxhouse-team. Toni & Yannik from Munich.

Das war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt! Beim nächsten Mal kommen wir wieder. Man ist schnell in Mannhatten aber kann auch im trendigen Williamsburg ausgehen. Sehr gepflegter Loft, netter Kontakt und gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis!

The decor of the room and the cleanliness was first class, modern and bright. The staff were very helpful and we liked the idea that we could be dropped off at the nearest subway for no charge. The only downside was the noise of reversing vans which emitated from a warehouse nearby at 5.30am during the weekday mornings. The location was very handy for getting into Manhattan one stop on the 7 line. The view on the walk over the Pulanski bridge walking back to the hotel over the bridge was stunning.

Acht Nächte im Box House Hotel Das Box House Hotel bietet schöne und stilvoll eingerichtete Apartments in einer ehemaligen Fabrik für Fenster. Es ist eine gelungene Mischung zwischen originalem, altem Bestand und guter Renovierung. Die Ausstattung ist klasse, vom Backofen über die Kaffeemaschine bis zum Geschirr ist alles da, um nicht jeden Tage in N.Y. teuer im Restaurant essen gehen zu müssen. Und es ist auch ganz angenehm erst mal ausgiebig „zu Hause“ zu frühstücken, bevor man sich in den Trubel der Großstadt stürzt. Die Lage ist zentral und doch etwas abseits der Hektik. Kurz über die Pulaskibrücke nach Long Island laufen, und dabei den tollen Blick auf die Skyline genießen, und dann mit der U-Bahn unter dem East River durch nach Manhattan. Vernon Blvd. nach Grand Central Station ist nur eine Haltestelle. In Greenpoint gibt es alles was man zum Überleben braucht, kleine Kneipen mit „Biergarten“, Supermarkt, Restaurants, Wäscherreien usw. Eigentlich eine 100% Empfehlung wenn, da nicht die Baufirma nebenan wäre. Natürlich darf man in N.Y. nicht lärmempfindlich sein, aber unter der Pulaskibrücke hat eine Baufirma ihren Fuhrpark abgestellt und wenn der Radlader morgens um 4:00 Uhr hin und her fährt und beim Rückwärtsfahren immer PIIIEEP-PIIIEEP-PIIIEEP macht, dann wird man einfach wach und einschlafen ist dann auch kaum mehr möglich. Die Fenster waren so gut schallgedämmt, dass selbst die Fahrgeräusche der nahen Brücke nicht gestört haben, nur eben der Radlader. :-(( Box House Hotel offers nice, stylish apartments in an old factory for windows. It is a great mix between original and well renovated parts. The equipment is fantastic and offers all you need to have dinner at home. As dining out in N.Y. is not cheap, that will help you saving some money. And it is convenient to have a powerful breakfast before you dive into the city jungle for a whole day. The location in Greenpoint is perfect, only one station away from Grand Central and still remote from the hustle and bustle of down town N.Y. It is only a 10 minutes walk across Pulaski Bridge to Long Island with grate view on Manhattan skyline. Metro Vernon Blvd. to Grand Central is only one station. In Greenpoint you will find everything you need to survive: Pubs, Restaurants, Supermarket, Laundry, etc. Normally I would say 100% recommendation but there is the car park of a construction company placed under Pulaski Bridge. And despite the well insulated windows, you hear almost every morning the annoying PIIIEEP-PIIIEEP-PIIIEEP of a wheel loader, when it drives back and forth, loading the trucks. On day they started at 4:00AM :-((

Increible departamento totalmente equipado! Tuve una excelente estadia. La cama es muy comoda se duerme muyy bien. Totalmente recomendable. Vayan!

Onze loft was zeer ruim en alles was aanwezig. Het was elke dag weer goed thuiskomen. Een paar keer hebben we zelf iets gekookt (supermarkt manhatten ave: ook voor goed bruin brood. Wel even goed zoeken. Vlakbij de bij vlees afdeling). Er is een nadeeltje aan het appartement. Het geboouw ligt in een rustige straat, maar aan de zijkant loopt een brug met een drukke doorgaande weg. Wie niet zo goed slaapt kan 's nachts last van het verkeer hebben. Kijk of je een loft kunt krijgen die geen terras heeft (ligt aan die weg) maar een loft met een aparte slaapkamer (ligt aan de binnenkant van het gebouw).

Loved the studio loft room. I was travelling alone in NYC and wanted to save costs by being out of the city. This hotel is perfectly located in a safe area - only 1 stop from Grand Central Station. Very clean, with tasteful, modern decor and quiet. Short 5 - 7 min walk to subway. Perfect for singles or couples travelling together.
