Description
The apartment is on the first floor of a typical hungarian building looking on a quiet courtyard, and it is ideal for up to 4 people.
Several tourist attractions are just for a few minutes walking distance from our apartment e.g.: Hungarian State Opera, Jókai square and Liszt Ferenc Square (great restaurants and cafes), Pest Broadway - Nagymező street, Heroes’ Square and the City Park (Városliget), the biggest Synagogue in Europe, Jewish Heritage, Andrássy Avenue (Andrássy út), House of Terror, Millenneum Underground, The Basilic, Fashion Street in Budapest, Shopping streets. In addition Margaret-island (Margitsziget), Parliament, Buda Castle, Baths in Budapest and Museums are a few stops with tram or metro from the apartment.
Close to our apartment you will find a lot of supermarkets, bars, market, banks and various shops. You can enjoy international cuisine in various restaurants in the well-known Liszt Ferenc square.
In the apartment there are one big comfortable double bed and one sofa bed, a separate kitchen and a bathroom with a bathtub. The kitchen is equipped with all the needed requirements in order to prepare simple meals: fridge, stove, microwave, kettle and coffee maker.
All bed linen, towels and kitchenware are provided. Amenities include free Internet connection, hairdryer, iron. Budapest guide brochure and maps are also available.
Everything (gas, electricity, cleaning etc.) is included in the price. There are no other additional costs.
About Parking:
You can park your car in the street in front of the building. It is free in the weekend. (from Friday 8 PM to Monday 8 AM). During the week you have to pay.
You can also park your car in a closed car parking house very close to the apartment building. This is about 20 meters walk.
How to get to our apartment by Public Transport:
The apartment is in the downtown area just 350 meters from the nearest tram stop "Király utca" (line 4-6).
From Airport: Take bus No. 200E from Liszt Ferenc Airport Terminal 1or 2 to Kőbánya-Kispest metro station (final stop), then change for the metro line M3 (blue) and travel to Corvin negyed stop. Change here for tram 4 or 6 and get off at Király street (utca) stop (5th stop). This journey from the airport takes about 50 min.
Public Transportation Means can be used for a fare: the one-way through-ticket costs HUF 350 (450 HUF when buying on the bus from the driver). (www.bkv.hu/en)
From the Eastern Railway station (Keleti pályaudvar.) Estimated time 12 min by public transportation. Take bus 7/7E/173/173E/5/178 or Metro 2/red line till Blaha Lujza tér, then change for the tram 4 or 6 till Király street stop.
From the Western Railway station (Nyugati pályaudvar): 10 min by public transportation (Tram 4/6 till Király street stop).
From the Southern Railway Station (Déli pályaudvar): 15 min by public transportation (Metro 2/red line till Blaha Lujza square and change for Tram 4/6 till Király street).
