Spacious Room in Amsterdam (2)

There were a few problems during our stay in Amsterdam. My wife and daughter arrived in Amsterdam with a flight from Italy; I was already in Germany and took a train to Amsterdam. Upon her arrival in Amsterdam, my wife contacted Rebecca and found out that the apartment we had booked and paid for, was not available. Wife and daughter were then transferred to another apartment, that was not ready at the moment my wife got there. The landlady promised to clean ti, which she in fact did (although she forgot to remove the garbage). Ok, no problem, Amsterdam is a wonderful town and we had the whole day to visit it. When we got home late in the evening we found out that there was no heating at all and no Internet connection. Also during the second night of our holidays, no heating, no Internet connection, no TV. Yes, Amsterdam is a wonderful place to visit (although a little bit too cold, particularly if the house is not heated). And with only three days (two nights, actually) we did not even have to complain. But, simply stated, we did not get what we paid for and what Wimdu and Rebecca had promised they would provide.

Nice trip in Amsterdam, Rebecca is really a nice girl, she makes everything she can for our well being. She has proposed to store our bicycles in the little courtyard which was very helpfull. The bedroom and the bathrooms were spacious and clean, no problem for us. The room is about 5 kms from the centrum, very easy by bicycles or tram. There are a lot of shops around and a very nice restaurant called "Radjis". Nadine and Gilles Fortier from France

Staying at apartment Admiraal of Rebecca is like you step in a warm bath. You feel her hospitality. Rebecca is such a sweetheart. I think she is an angel. The room in which I stayed was very luxury. Modern interior design. With extra luxe of a microwave, refrigerator and a very nice plasmascreen to watch tv. Of course as a Dutch footballsupporter I enjoyed old footage of San Marco van Basten on Ajax.tv After a great refreshing sleep in the indulging double bed you can step under the shower which is another adventure. My 1st impression was wow this looks like such a James Bond shower which you see in his movies. It has all kind of surprises not only watershower from above but also from behind (backmassage) and from the floor (footmassage). You don't believe it but you also can push a button which is the radio haha and atmospheric 007 blue lights. If you still don't have enough and wanna be indulged more you can go to the basement level where you can lie in a whirl pool bath with foaming bubbles. It goes without saying that I used both. Unfortunately I experienced serious healthproblems that period so the shower and bath was refreshing. Rebecca has 2 rooms and all are similar for a not expensive price. You cannot find this in a hotel. A breakfast is also possible but if you need a restaurant outside Rebecca is full of handy tips plus you receive an extra compliment discount in those restaurants if you mention that you're a guest of Rebecca. You know I can tell you for hours more and more how great it was but I won't steal your time. I just close this report that Rebecca is full of handy other tips if you need to go somewhere in the city. Just ask her she knows! By the way she is not a commopn girl. No she is a singing artist from Ghana since 1992 in The Netherlands and she makes great music. She is famous. But if you doubt about this room, just don't, just book the room. Rebecca ist eine sehr höfliche und aufgeschlossene Person. Sie hat uns sehr nett empfangen und sich gut um uns gekümmert. Für jeden Amsterdambesucher sehr zu empfehlen. Besser kann man es nicht bekommen ;-)

sehr nette und gesprächige Gastgeberin welche uns mit wertvollen Tipps weiterhalf. liebevoll eingerichtete ZImmer und ungewöhnliche und originelle Badezimmer. Jenste Shampoos, Douche-Gels und Bade-Essenzen gabs zur freien Verfügung. frische Blumen im Zimmer.

We had a great time im Amsterdam and of course at Rebecca. She is a wonderful hostess which gave us a lot of very good tips e.g. what we should see in Amsterdam (sights), the best shopping oppotunities, clubs and much more. Rebecca is freiendly and helpful.
