Cozy Bedroom with Garden

Un agréable séjour, un peu surprenant au départ car on ne s'attendait pas à vivre aussi proche avec la personne qui louait. Mais nous avons été ravis par la suite, Telma c'est avérée une personne très attentionnée et agréable. Toujours à l'écoute et de bons conseils pour visiter ou aller qq part. Telma est toujours prête à discuter de façon fort intéressante mais sans être envahissante, très bien et ses petits déjeuners sont magnifiques, le matin cela vous met de bonne humeur, même lorsqu'il pleut dehors, ce qui fut le cas quelques fois. Voilà tout était bien juste une chose que je reprocherais le manque d'un micro-ondes. Mais bon on savait d'avance ne pas pouvoir faire à manger, mais c'est toujours utile. Malgré le fait que l'on pouvait lui demander n'importe quoi elle est arrangeante. Sa maison est bien située pas besoin de la voiture, le bus juste à 5 mn vous emmène au centre dans la ville historique à côté du Ponte Vecchio cool !!! Très très bon lieu calme et pratique.

Thelma è una Host fantastica ! Ha facilitato in tutto e per tutto il soggiorno a Firenze della mia amica, per la quale avevo prenotato la camera fuori città preferendo lei un ambiente più intimo. Il luogo è molto gradevole ed il percorso per raggiungere la città estremamente panoramico. Veramente un soggiorno molto bello per la mia amica che ha apprezzato la gentilezza di Thelma, la colazione in giardino e la vicinanza con la città facilmente raggiungibile con i mezzi pubblici. 10 e Lode ! Telma is a lovely host, energetic and accommodating, and serves a very nice breakfast. The garden is small, wild, and cozy. The rather small bedroom is darker and (at least in spring) danker than the images on Wimdu suggest. The bathroom is elderly but very clean. Several of the photographs on the Wimdu website are of Telma's private living room, which she opens to guests for breakfast, but they are not part of the rented accommodation. However, for the price Telma asks, this place is perfectly appropriate, and easily and quickly connected to the historical town. Additional bonus: A really delicious pizzaria just down the road, producing over 72 kinds of pizza plus other things. Allergics should be warned of the presence of Telma's cute cat Garfield.

Telma and her husband are really nice people. She has notions of spanish and english, some french too and you can communicate for everything! They serve a good breakfast and adapt the time. You have the kees of the appartement wich is convenient, she offers you to pick you up if you need. She respect if you sleep in the morning or early night. There is also a parking in front of the appartement wich is good and safe to park. The area is nice and quiet, pharmacy, restaurant, bar and bus stop. It's located from 2 bus stop to Boboli garden, so you can go by walk to the center of Florence. The room is well decorated and confortable but you cannot use the kitchen. Bathroom is clean up everyday, and there is a little garden wich is nice to have breakfast or have a rest when good weather! The only inconvenient is that's the room is a little humid if it's raining out. We had a good time, and thank you again to telma and her husband for their kindness!!! Good quality/price to be close to the center of Florence

Nous avons passé quelques jours intéressants à Florence. Telma est une personne très sympathique, agréable. Elle nous a bien accueillis et servis tous le matins un petit déjeuner copieux (pain, croissants, brioche, jus de fruits, fromage, jambon, yoghourts et autre). Telma essaie de parler français, anglais et autre pour communiquer.

Telma is a great host! She is very nice and good at taking care of guests. The house is very comfortable and the garden is amazing. The breakfast is very delicious too! :)

Telma is a very helpful nice hostess. The accomodation is a nice fitted bedroom with a separate unshared bathroom next to it. Telma serves a nice breakfast with coffee or tea, bread, marmalade and eggs. The accomodation is not in the centre of Florence, buses 36,37, 11 take you from centre Santa Maria Novella stazioni to Due Estrada which is the bus stop foe Telma's place. It helps to buy a carton of 10 tickets from the Tobacco shop (Tabacherria) in the main SMN station. Each ticket is valid for 90 minutes and must be validated by swiping it on the ticket machine in the bus.... On holidays these buses run about hourly but during weekdays half-hourly. It is a packed bus so if one brings luggage its best to hire a cab which costs under 15 Euros to get to Telma's apartment. I found the nights and early mornings cold and I do not know if there is heating. As the sun comes Florence warms up and I did not need even a sweater in April-May. It may rain so it helps to have a raincoat and cap. There is a nice restaurant near Telma's place and one spends around 20 Euros for a fair dinner per person, the going rate in Florence. Telma has a small number of books on Italy. Her knowledge of English is poor so repeat your questions till she understands you well. For example in her welcome note to me she said "good riddance"...obviously she never meant it. All in all for the small fee paid it is very good value and Telma is a nice pleasant person. Obviously if you want something upmarket you can stay in a hotel but staying in a b & b works both ways....Italian people are nice and friendly....most know little English so it helps to know some basic Italian to get around. All in all Telma is a nice person and runs a nice b &b.

We really enjoyed our stay with Thelma. She kindly picked us up at the station and ven better took us back at the end of our stay. The bedroom/bathroom was fine and cosy and we had no complaints. Nice breakfast served and the little garden was a real plus as was the independence of having our own keys. Thelma was very much a lady on our wavelength and communication in a mix of Italian, Spanish and English was no problem. Recommended unless you only like 4 star accommodation.

Ich war mit meiner Frau für einige Tage zu Gast bei Telma. Sie hat uns sogar vom Flughafen abgeholt, um uns die Schwierigkeiten des ersten Zurechtfindens durch Florenz am späten Abend zu ersparen. Wir wurden sehr nett von Telma und ihrem Mann empfangen. Das Zimmer befindet sich im Souterrain des Hauses und ist schön eingerichtet. Etwas mehr Sonne, Licht und frische Luft würden aber das Wohnklima noch verbessern. Der Umgang mit der außergewöhnlich freundlichen Vermieterin ist unkompliziert, fast familiär. Das Zimmer bei Telma ist eine echt preiswerte Alternative für jeden Kurzbesuch in Florenz. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist gut und zahlreiche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in der Nähe. Zu Fuß kann man leicht verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen. Vielen Dank und weiterhin alles Gute.

Siamo stati da Telma tra Natale e Capodanno. Lei è molto gentile ed ospitale e la casa nonostante non sia in centro è collegata benissimo, la fermata del bus da cui passano due linee principali è vicinissima a casa. La stanza però è molto umida.
