Cute Room in Central Amsterdam

Helen and her family made me feel most welcome. Very warm and loving. They did not hesitate in offering me advice on the city and gave me the loan of a bicycle too.Wonderful people.

le logement est bien situé, calme et pas si loin du centre ( 30mn à pied de la gare centrale), les hôtes sont sympas , prêtent un vieux vélo , mais la chambre est minuscule ( 3,5 m°) et sans fenêtre..... donc c'est vraiment cher

Hello, many thanks for your hospitality. It was really an nice adventure an staying. I have seen some good pubs and people. Good talks with all members of the family made the two days round.

Accueil sympatique par des gens ouvert aux contacts et partage avec leurs hôtes de passage. Idéal pour une personne seule qui veut découvrir la ville. Chambre petite, simple mais tranquille pour dormir.

Very small teenager's bedroom. Neither window nor table/desk to work. But anyway, quite nice to sleep one or two nights. Very kind family and area not so far from the center.

+ Description of room is accurate + The hosts are very friendly and helpful + The location is safe + Free Bike + no WLAN, but wired internet - Room has no windows/no fresh air - Room cannot be locked - Bathroom/Toilet smelly and mouldy - Kitchen cleanliness below standard All in all not a pleasant experience considering the daily rate. Although Helen and her family are really charming and helpful, the amenities were less appealing, hygiene is an issue. According to Helen she will take care of these issues, so the future will tell.

A nice wee place to chill out at after a busy day/night in Amsterdam. Helen (even though she was away on holiday during my stay) was very hospitable and welcoming with a map and towels. Would recommend :)
