Lovely Apartment near la Croisette

Very nice appartment. Great view over Cannes and the sea from the balkony which is perfect for the breakfast in the morning. An excellent bakery is just around the corner. To get to the city center it is only a 10-15 min walk. The kitchen is extremly good equipped, it even has a dishwasher. All the basics (tea, coffee, spices...) are provided. The bathroom is very nice and has an excellent shower. The bed is comfortable for 2 persons and there is an extra TV in the bedroom. The living room has a nice sofa and a huge TV. WIFI was available without any problems. You can hear the neighbours living above when they are walking but there is no other noise. For the cleaningness I'd give a 9 out of 10. Photinis sister was taking care of us. She was very nice and calling in after two days if everything is OK.

A great place to stay, with a very accommodating and helpful host. I stayed here during MIPTV in April, avoiding the immensely high prices charged by hotels in Cannes (many of extremely limited quality, depsite their rates). The host picked me up from the Hotel de Ville where airport buses arrive from Nice, and drove me to the flat which is in a modern block a little way up the hill behind the centre of the town. The flat is on the 4th floor, with a half-flight of stairs to negotiate before the lift (elevator) is reached. The flat faces east-south-east, so benefits fully from the early morning sun. There's a balcony on which you can sit to take breakfast, with views over the Med. The bathroom is to high-class hotel standard, with an excellent shower arrangement over and in the bath. There's an open-plan kitchen/sitting room, and a giant smart TV providing access to French TV channels - a number in high definition - as well as international channels like BBC World News and CNNI. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and there's lots of storage. Wi-fi works well, too. A couple of minutes walk away is a small parade of local shops, one of which is a most marvellous patisserie boulangerie - La Chaumiere - which bakes wonderful bread, croissants and so on, and produced fantastic cakes. The flat is on the number 2 bus route that runs around every 10 minutes during the day. The one-way fare is €1. You can also walk to and from the centre - it's about 12-15 minutes, a little longer on the return as it's uphill all the way! Good exercise... Highly recommended.

Lovely apartment! so comfortable and adorable. Very comfortable. Especially enjoyed the bathroom! Nice walk down to Croisette through Le Suquet, but a little bit difficult on the uphill way back. Photini, the host, just marvellous! She evn had prepared a nice welcome with wine and patee. Great

Ultramodern apartment with all the goods (from big flat tv to cups) and a terrace with a sea view, great starting place to explore Cannes. And they had no problems with broken glass (sorry!) :)

Really Great calm residential location and lovely to have breakfast on a balcony. The apartment was immaculate and the shower was a real ten out of ten!

Eine sehr freundlich eingerichtete Wohnung. Der Strand ist tatsächlich nah, aber ziemlich schmutzig. Vielleicht ist das in der Hauptsaison besser. Photini kümmerte sich sehr lieb darum, alle unsere Fragen schnell zu beantworten. Absolut empfehlenswert!
