The historic district of Mets lies to the east of the Acropolis, opposite the Zappeion Gardens, just south of the Panathenaic Stadium where the first modern Olympics were held in 1896.Unique for its delightful old Athenian houses dating from the 19th century, Mets is renowned for its many pedestrian streets, gardens and parks surrounding it. Right in the heart of Athens, this quiet and extremely safe residential district is home to many Greek artists, actors and writers.
Streets are shaded by flowering trees, lined with neoclassical houses, and filled with the scent of jasmine and bougainvillea: Mets is a taste of old Athens, full of pre-World War II houses with tiled roofs and charming courtyards. It's one of the most beautiful neighborhoods to explore in the city, with excellent dining and nightlife options, from trendy bars with stunning views to the Acropolis to one of Europe’s finest jazz clubs.

Une maison formidable et des hôtes adorables prêts à tout pour que nous nous sentions bien. Merci!
The house is charming, and very well-located in relation to the main attractions in city of Athens. Tina is a charming and helpful hostess, and the apartment is a comfortable, well-presented and homely place to stay in Athens! We really enjoyed our stay! Thanks for everything, Tina
Apartment very nice, well located ... and especially warm welcome bonus full of useful information ... Recommend
Appartement très sympa, bien localisé...et surtout accueil chaleureux avec en bonus le plein d'informations utiles...A conseiller
We stayed in the home of Tina in April 2013. We were delighted by the charm of this old house, both quiet and very close to all the interests of the city, accessible factilement walk. Tina is also very helpful and did everything to make you small services that facilitate your trip!
We stayed three days in the upper part of the house. It has another atmosphere
than the lower one. It has antique furniture and is decorated with a lot of in-
teresting things. We liked it very much.
There is small veranda, where we liked to sit and to eat.
The kitchen and the bathroom are really cosy.

En rigtig god oplevelse. Sød vært
We enjoyed our stay in Athens. Elissavet is a very King person willing to help you anytime. The appartment is well located and big enough for two adults and two childrens. However there is no much light inside.
We have had a wonderful time in Athens. This appartment is really charmant!!! Nice neighbourhood, quiet, terrace. nearby all the beatiful things. very nice welcome, very good that we could leave our bagage beyond reserving time. This name is very good chosen: safe, some steps from the ruins, etc.
One little thing: the door of the bathroom (not to be closed) and perhaps more for two/three people than for four people, but we are large:).
Thank you Elissavet en Tina!
This is a wonderful place to stay, the house is lovely, and very spacious, and quiet! There is also a lovely courtyard for breakfast or a quiet glass of wine in the evening. The area Mets is an oasis of peace and tranquillity in a very busy noisy city. In the morning you will wake to the sound of birdsong... The house is tucked in behind the Temple of Zeus and a very short stroll from Syntagma Square, New Acropolis Museum, and of course the Acropolis. I was met by Elissavet who is lovely, welcoming, and helpful! I loved staying here and my only regret was leaving. I do hope to return!
