19th-Century House in a Quiet Area

très sympa confortable et pratique (proximité ligne tram 9) très bon rapport qualité prix ! à conseiller pour une vie totalement "amesterdamoise"

Stayed in this accommodation for a couple of nights. Quite suitable and well located outside of central amsterdam with easy access by tram, although it could do with a freshen up with light fittings appropriately fitted and cobwebs removed in some rooms. Two points to note for people interested in staying 1, the spiral stair cases to the upper floors are very steep with not much footing or available handrail. They need to be used carefully, and would not be suitable for people without good balance. 2, We didn't come across a washing machine, for those who might be interested in staying longer term.

Nice house, nice little backyard, nice neighbourhood! Shops all in walking distance as well as tram station with n°9 bringing you straight into town . We had a really good time there!

Nice house in a good neighbourhood. Modern decorations, well maintained (comfy couches in the living room which we enjoyed). On departure we simply left the keys on the table which came handy - no problems with the owners whatsoever. Only one minus: the house seems to be inhabited (i.e. there are pictures of the family in the bathroom, and many personal items such as children toys) - so not a typical holiday apartment. Overall, I can recommend for a stay of larger groups or a family.

Tolles und großes Apartment. Der Aufenthaltsraum ist schön gestaltet und hat auch eine ordentliche Stereo-Anlage zu bieten. Mit der Straßenbahn ist man in 10 Minuten in der Innenstadt. Hier kann man bedenkenlos ein paar schöne Tage in Amsterdam verbringen!

Very nice place. The house has got everything, you can possibly wish for, to have a pleasant stay. Very nice and helpful host. Pretty neighbourhood. Stores and restaurants close by. Tramstation 2 mins. away. Highly recommendable!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ivo's home. It was very comfortable, had all the features of a home away from home. Ivo was very relaxed and provided us with all the information we needed to book our stay in Amsterdam. The main bedroom is large and the bed is like a cloud. The bathroom is large with a big shower. The city centre was really accessible, only 10 minutes on the tram, with the tram stop just 2 minutes from the house. A massive supermarket was just one minute walk and had everything we needed. We have no hesitation in recommended Ivo's place for your stay in Amsterdam.

Nice host and place in a small street, only church bells in the night. Fine location for a family, tram is near and You can discover Amsterdam from by bike too. Only at the steep steps in the house You have to be careful. Thanks, Ivo and Judith!
