Budget Studio, everything equipped (monthly rent only)

Diese Unterkunft - unsere zweite Buchung über Wimdu, nach Sommer 2012, ebenfalls in Hongkong - war wieder enttäuschend! Die Fotos vielversprechend, die Tatsachen lausig. Eine zwar sauber renovierte Unterkunft, aber das half nichts über die Fakten: zu kleines Bett ( wir sind ein Paar mit "Standardabmessungen" ), konnten es aber nicht gemeinsam nutzen. So mussten wir uns eine zusätzliche zweite Liegemöglichkeit besorgen, eine Matratze - auf dem Boden....Der Duschraum ist in der Toilette oder umgekehrt, kann man so lala händeln. Die Geräusche der Nachbarn ( durch reden, Duschen, Kloo, waschen ) kriegt man mit, als geschähe das alles im eigenen Raum, wie schon letztjährig im Studio in der Jaffe-Road HK. Der Nachbar auf der Ebene neben uns hatte zudem noch das Problem, mit seinen zwei Hunden fertig zu werden, egal um welche Tages- oder Nachtzeit. Vielleicht musste er die Tiere auch öfter duschen, da sie langhaarig waren und unter seinem Dach/ im selben Raum leben. Da halfen nur Ohrstöpsel etwas.... Ach ja, der Fernseher ging nicht, was nach Meldung an den Vermieter aber niemand zur Änderung bewegte. Zum Glück hatten wir aber andere schöne Erlebnisse, die die Tage abwechslungsreich und uns einigermassen müde machten... Fazit, nie wieder Wimdu, oder StudioStudio, die wohl zusammenhängen. Besser kürzer bleiben oder mehr zahlen. Man hat ja nicht Nerven ohne Ende! Ansonsten ist Hongkong immer einen Besuch wert!!!!!! Ach ja, man frägt sich, wozu ein Deposit von 3000 HKD, wenn keiner auf Mängelanzeigen reagiert?? Wimdu &Co soll sich vorsehen, das " Image" nicht aufs Spiel zu setzen durch reine Geldhascherei, der Kunde bleibt schnell aus, so wie wir!

Note: I was in 304, the mirror image of 303. This room was exactly as described. While small, it had everything that I needed to make it possible for me to have an extended stay in Hong Kong (35 nights). I hope to get back to Hong Kong in the very near future and would stay here again.

The apartment I stayed in with Studio was a nice living space overall. It had everything I needed and the person who cleaned my room every week did a great job. They were easy to contact and were pleasant to deal with. Thanks Studio.

Stayed here for a month. Was a real disappointment. The advert said 180sqft. Now, I know in HK sqft measurements are gross and not net values, but the room size was only 66sqft ! (I measured it). You could fit 2 double beds in the entire room (including the bathroom area). After complaining they moved me to another bigger room in the same building (I measured 75sqft). This host has a few rooms listed and I'm sure they all overstate the true room size by a big margin. Other hosts I checked out have obviously larger rooms when they quote identical apartment sizes). The original advert said WiFi. There was internet via a cable, but no WiFi (so I couldn't access the net on my phone). The internet speed was OK but at times (maybe 2-3 hrs every 2-3 days) it was very slow. The water pressure in the shower is terrible and irregular (sometimes nothing came out at all). Anytime anyone in a nearby or upstairs room uses the shower, your pressure gets cut. All the rooms are old and so is the bldg. Arman, the building manager is good - he responds to your complaints pretty promptly. Wimdu told me I couldnt cancel my booking when I arrived, so I just took the larger place - not much protection for the fee you pay the Wimdu.

It was a very very clean apartment with a big bathroom which i love very much and location was perfect as it was 10 mins walking distance to Sheung Wan MTR. I also headed to Macau for the House of Dancing Water and it was walking distance to the ferry which was very accessible.

The superintendant, Arman, at Cosy Studio in Wan Chai is very responsive and helpful to guest's needs. Arman, not only respects his job, he is also kind to his guest's demands.

The space is in a great location for the artsy local HK scene. However it is tiny,open door there is bed... Hot water does not last long and there is no heat... Hk does get cold people.. There are no towels or welcome amenities... its cheap but not that cheap there are more offers to be had in HK if you have time to look!

that's a very nice room, nicely designed and really comfortable. Around the area there are lots of galleries and cafe, really enjoy living here. Strongly recommend someone who would love to see the traditional HK mixes the modern HK

The room is clean but small to me. The neighborhood is a bit noisy. The only I concern most is the internet service. But, in general, the host is fine.
