Trendy Brooklyn Private Room

Great place to stay in Brooklyn. Two subway stations around the corner in a very interesting neighborhood. The apartment is perfect: quiet, clean, tastily decorated and with a five-star bedroom. Denise and Patrick are really cool hosts, laid-back and respectful. They made things very easy from the beginning and were ready to help all the time. Definitely I would stay again at Denise's place.

Great trip in New York ! First time for me in a guest room and I am very happy to choose this kind of alternative. The welcome was very nice, it's been a real pleasure to discuss with Denise and learn about the city. The place is nice, near the subway which is very helpful to access to Manhattan at any time.

Staying with Denise was great. She is very helpful and friendly. The next subway station is just a two minutes' walk and there are plenty of places to eat around. The neighbourhood felt safe, too.

We really enjoyed our stay in New York. Staying with Denise and Patrick was ideal. Their house is located close to a subway station. The rooms were clean and we felt safe there. We were free to come and go as we pleased, and they made us feel very welcome. We would recommend staying with Denise and Patrick to our friends.

Denise und Patrick waren hervorragende Gastgeber!! Unterkunft war sauber, Küche konnte mitbenutzt werden. Subway nur 3 Minuten entfernt. KLeiner Laden mit allem was das Herz begehrt vor der Haustür. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !!

Denise was a lovely and caring host! Although we didn't get to see each other much she gave us some very useful local tips and had an open ear at any time. She even was so kind as to book us a taxi to the airport! The apartment was perfectly clean and nice, with a lovely shared bathroom and kitchen. Since there were 2 other girls staying as well we got the bigger room although we'd booked the smaller one. The location of the apartment is pretty much perfect. You get to walk around and experience some cool Brooklyn neighborhood easily and the trains to Manhattan run just outside the door and take you to town within 20mins. All was very quiet and we had some good nights sleep, I would definitely come again! Thank you Denise!

We had the pleasure of staying with Denise and Patrick for 2 weeks in October 2012. We liked their apartment and we had access to our own bedroom and a shared kitchen and bathroom. All were nicely furnished, clean and modern. We were welcome to use the kitchen as we pleased whether we wanted to cook our own meals of just use the fridge. There was Wi-Fi access too. Our bedroom was big, clean and furnished with a double bed, hanger for cloths, large TV, desk, trunk to store your things and a safety locker for your belongings. A cleaner came once a week. During our stay there were 2 others staying in the apartment, which was no problem at all – no queue to the bathroom and everyone were respectful and tidy. The area was quite and perfectly located just steps away from subway nr 2 (to the stop Norstrand) and 3 & 5 (to the stop President). It took approximately 40min in to Manhattan if you didn’t catch an express train, then it was faster. We also used the bus b44 to get across Brooklyn to get the G-train going to Williamsburg. There´s a small convenience store right outside as well. Denise was a very good host. She and Patrick were very nice people and the few times we saw them it was a pleasure talking to them. Denise was very helpful, gave us recommendations of restaurants, areas to visit and she made sure that we were comfortable during our stay – if we didn’t see each other she contacted us through email which was good. We had a great time in NYC and happy that we choose to stay with Denise and Patrick! If we travel back to NYC we would love to stay with them again and would recommend everyone going to NYC to stay with them.

It was a wonderful place, near to the subway so PERFECT. Very quiet and clean. WE RECOMMEND !!! Chambre très propre et très bon accueil, Denise est vraiment super sympa et n'hésiteras pas à vous donnez des conseils pour améliorer votre séjour. métro à 1 min, quartier et habitants sympathique.

We stayed at our host Denise home, Denise is a wonderful host, well organized kitchen, sheets and towels are well washed, guests have lot of freedom and host offers many you may not think of. Transit is very convenience one small walk to subway, can transfer to anywhere you want to go. Denise, I like your long hair. Mrs lee

La chambre est très comfortable et bien située : proche de Prospect Park, du Brooklyn Museum, du Botanic Garden, et également de différentes bouches de métro. L'hôte, Denise, est agréable et très arrangeante. J'espère avoir l'occasion de la revoir.
