Cozy RM in Newtown Home w/ pool

This is a nice place to stay while in Sydney. The house is beautiful and Marie is a great host. Absolutely recommended !

Marie ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Sie holte mich z. B. am Bahnhof Newtown ab, was ich ihr hoch anrechne. Von Newtown aus ist man schnell im Zentrum von Sydney. Das Zimmer selbst ist nicht riesig, aber man ist ja eh die meiste Zeit unterwegs. Der Pool ist natürlich das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Ihre 3 Katzen und den Hund hatte ich schnell ins Herz geschlossen und sie mich, glaube ich, auch.

I really enjoyed my week at Marie's house. The location was very close to the city but still in a quiet area. The room is not massive but absolutely enough. Marie was VERY nice, she even drove me around the city and showed me the area. She really put in a lot of effort! I couldn't find accommodation in Sydney because everything was booked out. Then I came across the Wimdu website and was very happy that I still found this room and that it turned out to be so good! Ich habe meine Woche in Maries Haus sehr genossen. Die Lage ist super, sehr nah zur Stadt aber trotzdem in einer ruhigen Gegend. Das Zimmer ist nicht riesig, aber vollkommen ausreichend. Marie war wirklich SEHR nett, einen Tag hat sie mich sogar mit ihrem Auto herumgefahren und mir die Gegend gezeigt. Sie hat sich wirklich sehr um mich bemüht! I habe erst keine Unterkuft in Sydney finden können, da alles ausgebucht war, bis ich auf Wimdu gestossen bin. Ich war sehr glücklich, dass ich noch etwas gefunden habe, was sich dann als tatsächlich so gut herausgestellt hat!

Freundliche Gastgeberin, sehr gute Lage der Wohnung, gute Verkehrsanbindung (2 min zum Bus), Supermarkt, Restaurants, Bars, Geschäfte in der Nähe. Für Nachtschwärmer ideal, für Lärmempfindliche eher ungeeignet - Ohrstöpsel sind sinnvoll. Wohnung ist für 2 Personen gut geeignet.

Marie is very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated her hospitality. She respects your privacy, but is certainly willing to ask if everything is ok and if you're having fun. Her dog and three cats are sweet and they are not annoying. For me, the animals were not a problem anyway because I love animals. The house is modern. The room is not to big but perfect. There is more then enough closet space, it has a slding door/window and a ceiling fan. The bathroom is beautiful and just like the rest of the house very clean. Her house is located in Newtown dichbij King Street. The Newtown station is about ten minutes walk from her house. King Street is a nice street with plenty of different restaurants. Go to Cinque a very nice place to eat for breakfast lunch and dinner. The cinema (Dendy) is next to Cinque. Newtown has its own atmosphere and I was happy to return to Newton after I had been on the road. It is certainly worth a room in this house to rent. Marie is een vriendelijke en behulpzame vrouw. Ze is gastvrij en respecteert je privacy maar ook zeker bereid om te vragen of je het naar je zin hebt en hoe je de dag hebt doorgebracht. Haar hond en drie katten zijn lieve, rustige dieren. Voor waren zij sowieso geen probleem omdat ik wel van honden/katten houd. Het huis is modern ingericht. De kamer is niet al te groot maar prima. Er is voldoende kastruimte. De kamer is voorzien van een glazen schuifpui en een plafondventilator. De badkamer is prachtig en net zoals de rest van het huis erg schoon. Haar huis ligt in Newtown dichbij Kingstreet. Het station Newtown is ongeveer tien minuten lopen van haar huis. Kingstreet is een leuke winkelstraat met volop verschillende restaurants. Ga naar Cinque een erg leuke plek om te eten voor zowel ontbijt lunch als diner. De bioscoop (Dendy) ligt naast Cinque. De buurt heeft een eigen sfeer en ik kwam graag weer terug naar Newton nadat ik de hele dag op pad was geweest. Het is zeker de moeite waard om een kamer in dit huis te huren.
