Private Roof

Alper's Hospitality is second to none. I originally asked for this apartment but Alper responded saying it was not available and offered a bigger basement apartment for the same price. The apartment was clean and close to the tram station which gives direct access to the sultanahmet region. A point to note is that because the apartment was in the basement underneath the shop, there would be moving noises coming very early in the morning which woke us up sometimes. Also, the bathroom could be modernised but was clean and always worked. Thanks Alper for all your help.

I looked at a lot of places. This one was priced well and had the amenities I wanted so we went for it. The place was clean and comfy. Alpers was super helpful with tips on the city. Lots of great maps there for guests. The big bonus though is the neighborhood. It was so nice to come 'home' to a place where regular folks live. The shop keepers where welcoming and helpful, especially in the deli just by the apt. I think the fed us samples of everything in the place + taught us a couple of Turkish words to help us out. The transit system is one of the easiest I've been on and the stop is about 2 blocks away. Just by the station is a place called 1453- go there! Even just for tea. It's a great little spot if you want to watch people or watch socker or smoke hookah (Nargile). My daughter and I miss the place already! This place was great!

Die Ferienwohnung war nicht Besuchbar,weil angeblich eine Wassersperrung vorliegt.Ist schon blöd,wenn man an ein Tag vorher,wenn man in der Türkei ist so etwas erfährt.Wir hatten nämlich in der anderen Ferienwohnung für ein Tag gebucht und uns wurde angeboten,dass wir in der ersten Ferienwohnung bleiben dürften.

Me and my husband had 4 fantastic days in Istambul in September. The apartment was comfortable and cosy. Good value for money. Had all the facilities and appliances that were needed during our stay. We were glad that the aircon was working properly. Could be a little bit better maintained (some walls were badly cracked etc. but we never expected a 5 star). In good area - it was very easy to get to historic city center by public transport, or you can even try to walk but that takes around 1,5 hour.

Es war toll. Alles war sehr sauber. Gute Verkehrsanbindung. Alper ist sehr freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Kann ich wirklich nur weiter empfehlen !
