Monumental B&B next to Dam Sqaure (city center)

Wat een geweldige plek om Amsterdam te verkennen! Ideaal vertrekpunt om het hele centrum te ontdekken. Een heerlijk rustig appartement, ongelovelijk dat dit midden in het centrum te vinden is. Alles keurig netjes, uitgebreid ontbijt in een eigen keukentje, helemaal top. Een aanrader.

Er was een warme ontvangst met een kopje koffie. Het appartement is smaakvol en gezellig ingericht. Met ook een goed gevulde koelkast voor het ontbijt.Te midden van het rumoer van de stad is dit een heerlijk rustig plekje. We konden zonder problemen onze spullen nog laten staan. Een heel sympathiek adres!

Like the rest of the people who have been here we loved it. The house is beautiful and is right in the center of everything. Yet it is extremely quiet at night and the beds are very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and had more than needed food and fruits. They were very generous. They also had an awesome coffee machine... hmm :) The family is lovely and did not bother us no matter how late we arrived at night and we didn't feel pressured in the house. We really felt at home. We are so thankful to Hans and his family sharing their home with us. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

We stayed at the monument for two days and cannot speak highly enough of our stay. There were fresh flowers, fruit, fully stocked fridge, also stocked cupboards it was like a home from home. When we arrived we were greeted by haya and hans daughter flo who showed us to our room. The bed was one of the most comfortable I'd slept in, I truly found it hard to get out. There were plenty of fresh towels in the bathroom and even extra firm pillows in the wardrobe. The location was brilliant it was stuck away from all the hustle and bustle in a private street which also made us feel safe. When it was time to book out we told haya that our flight back home was 10pm and she told us to checkout later and it wasn't a problem. All in all a absolutely LOVELY, GENEROUS FAMILY who made our stay in Amsterdam amazing.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit in dem gemütlichen Appartment verbracht.Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Lage ist super, zentral und dennoch ruhig.

fantastische plek in het hartje van Amsterdam, zonder dat je iets van geluid hoort. Heel charmant, super gevulde koelkast en vers fruit op de kamer. Aanrader!!

Hans and Haya have a wonderful monument dating back to 1580. It is perfectly located right in the middle of Amsterdam very close to the Dam Square. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious and was incredibly well stocked with food in the fridge and fresh fruit as well as a superb Nespresso Coffee machine which provided almost instant coffee. Haya and her three girls welcomed us like family and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We would definitely stay again. Our rating is 4 stars but would be maximum 5 except for the two sets of steep stairs to negotiate with heavy luggage....but this is Amsterdam don't forget. What a wonderful place to stay in in the center of Amsterdam. Beatiful house, big beatiful room , fantastic bed´s, great kitchen whith every thing you could wish for breakfast. And a very big and nice bathroom. It was very clean and we feld so Welcome. Haya was so nice and and did our trip so perfekt! We will absolutly come back if we go to Amsterdam again!

sehr entspannter aufenthalt bei hans und haya. beide waren jederzeit sehr hilfsbereit und hatten prima tipps für uns. das frühstück war sehr lecker und mit obst, eiern, saft etc. auch sehr reichhaltig. die kleine "dachwohnung" ist sehr gemütlich und die zentrale lage gleich neben dem dam-platz wirklich top!
