Private, self-contained Bacchus Suite in Central City

Gary et Debbie ont été des hôtes parfaits. L'appartement «Bacchus» est situé au sous-sol de leur jolie maison, située à 5 minutes de marche du «Skytrain» (métro), et ainsi, à 8 minutes du Centre-Ville et à 20 minutes de l'aéroport. Les hôtes ont pensé à tout pour rendre notre séjour agréable: gâteau maison, muffin, friandises, mot de bienvenue personnalisé et plein d'autres petites attentions. Nous pouvons aussi nous servir de leur charmante cour pour manger ou prendre un verre. Il est important de noter qu'ils n'accaparent en aucun temps notre intimité.

Sehr geehrter Wimdu Anbieter. Das Appartment bei Gary und Debbie hat unsere Vorstellung weit übertroffen. Es war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. In dem schönen Garten haben wir uns abends bei einem Glas Wein erholt vom Tag voller Aktivitäten. Besonders wichtig war die Anbindung an das öffentliche Verkehrnetz. Our first trip to Vancouver and really pleased we found the Wimdu site and Debbie and Gary's lovely home instead of a big chain hotel. Excellently located, not too far from the airport on the subway, very close to downtown, good bus routes, or a nice walk through Cambie Village! They are a delightful, friendly couple who make you feel welcome as soon as you arrive. The apartment was perfect for our week's stay, clean, comfy bed, has all the amenities you could need (can even do your washing/drying). They are very helpful in giving you a 'welcome to our home' leaflet with useful local info. I even got an unexpected card and cupcake on the morning of my birthday to make a great day. Thoroughly recommend them and their home, we hope to stay again next visit to Van!

Garry und Debbie waren sehr nett und super hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung war top und sehr gut mit Bahn und Bus zu erreichen. Ich kann die Unterkunft zu 110% weiterempfehlen und würde jederzeit gern wieder dort wohnen.

We enjoyed our stay although the property description might be a little misleading. We were surprised to find that the "suite" is actually a converted basement with little to no natural lighting (although a lot of light fixtures). The ceiling was EXTREMELY low maybe about 7-8ft high. Being as that you're sleeping in a basement below a house, every noise upstairs could be heard and that was rather unpleasant. We felt like we couldn't be too loud or we'd disturb someone. Overall, it is a cute, small place, nicely furnished and TERRIFIC location. I'm just glad we were only there to sleep- there isn't much of a kitchen either. The owner was plesant and the price was great but more disclosure would have been nice. :)
