Private Studio in Causeway Bay

Conveniently located (accessible by both MTR and public bus) and studio is good for 2! Apartment is clean and well maintained. Apart from the smell of musk (which is easily solved by a can of air freshener), all else is great. No bug issue during my stay. Might have been due to other tenants of the building and not entirely the host's negligence that bugs crawled in previously. Yummy food places along the same street of the apartment (within 5 minutes walk) and of coz, as recommended by Lee Shan, Itamae Sushi is right below the apartment. =)

This studio is as described is truly for very "uncomplicated people" but I would agree with some reviers here is very expensive for such people. So if you are looking for at least some comfort I wouldn't recommend this accomodation. The location is good and description fits the reality. But the space is very small and though it mentions the possibility to place the 3rd person, there is phisically no space for 3 people and 3 suitcases in the flat. There are some issues with cleanliness: on the arrival there was a dead cockroach on the floor, small pieces of food in the kitchen area sina and in the second night huge cockroach got into the room. The view from the window is at the building under construction with the lot of garbage and working turbine which is very noisy. The host is friendly but lives abroad so in case of issues you have to contact her cousin who speaks very few English. During our stay the WiFi was not available in the flat but we couldn't explain it to the cousin so it wasn't fixed. Also we had to wait for 1 hour near his shop with our luggage to obtain the keys from the time mentioned in the instructions when we could get the keys. Overall I agree the studio is bit of a cell type and would strongly recommend considering the hotel - we moved to one with the big good rooms and all amenities just for 20$ extra per night.

I stayed here twice because the facility is awesome and the location is ideal.

Everything was functional and as shown in the photos. There was a dead bug in front of the toilet. Somebody had stepped on it obviously so I wonder when the last cleaning was / why it hasn't been removed. Very friendly special service by Andy (cousin of Lee) who waited for me till 3AM when my plane was late to arrive to HK. No issues overall.

Very good location with everything you want practically at your doorstep. Easy and fuss-free stay and comfortable and secure environment. Thank you Lee Shan for letting me stay at your apartment!

I stayed in this apartment for 2 nights only, and it was my first booking on wimdu, not a good start. Overall, i was disappointed with this apartment, and i think the host needs to adjust and lower the room rate, as the apartment is overpriced compared to the natural substitute, i.e. hotels. First of all, this is a very, very tiny apartment, even by HK standards,basically a room, suitable only for those who need it for a sleep an nothing else. It is in an old building with some stores located in the first 2 floors and residential apartments above. Finding and entering the studio is relatively easy, but inside there is literally nothing except a bed and a few amenities. The water heating system doesn't work properly and thus prepare for cold showers. Furniture, amenities are very basic, the bed is ok in size, but the bedsheets are old. The whole atmosphere is a bit of a cell. For those who have heavy luggage a warning here is that there is no elevator/lift in the house, so you need to carry your luggage up to the 4th floor! The primary advantage is location, Causeway bay is the "shopping/dining center" of HK island, and anybody new to HK will appreciate that. Surprisingly, the apartment is relatively quiet, despite the neighborhood, which is one of the busiest in the city. Considering that for an additional 20$ you can get a rather small, but a nice 4* hotel in HK island, this apartment is way overpriced and hence not recommended.

Lee Shan's apartment is very well located. Just around the cwb subway station. If you like this area I can highly recommend this place. I stayed on night on a saturday. It is clean and has everything you need. For a one person, weekend trip, very ok. Lee Shan is very helpful and made things happen in the last second.

Because Lee Shan's pad is the best place to stay when visiting Hong Kong, I stayed there again for a second time. Lee Shan is wonderful and just sorts things out. Nae fuss, nae bother. It's just so nice, so convenient and so easy. It's as simple as that. Thanks Lee Shan!

Its the perfect solution. It's like staying at your friend's place without your mate relocating one poor child out of his bed to make room for an old friend staying over. And there's no need to buy chocolates for the lady of the house. Lee Shan is wonderful. It's just like having a good friend sort everything out for you. Everything was just so, instructions, advice and hospitality was brilliant - all by e-mail in my case, so no fuss. Easy peasy. I think I'll give Lee Shan a call next time I pass through Hong Kong. And I'll bring her some chocolates.
