Budget Apartment in New York City

I stayed at the apartment for one week with a friend and found it good value for money. I would come back again. It was clean and spacious although the towels were a little small. We were able to make our lunches every day to take with us because we could store food in the communal kitchen which was adequate although a little dark. Steve and Frida were always helpful and hospitable. The house is very conveniently located and we enjoyed coming back to the peaceful setting in New Jersey after being in New York City exploring all day! Sometimes we ate at the Cuban and Indian restaurants nearby which were both excellent value for money and had good food and service. I would go back again. Rosemary, from Canada.

Ett tryggt och helt OK boende 10-15 minuter med buss från Manhattan. Bra och trevligt värdpar som tar väl hand om sina gäster. /Michael och Katja

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in diesen Apartment. Steve und seine Frau waren sehr hilfsbereit und gaben uns gute Tipps, die uns sehr halfen uns in New York zurecht zu finden. Die Lage des Apartments ist gut, man erreicht Manhattan mit dem Bus innerhalb von 15 Minuten und auch die Ausstattung und die Sauberkeit des Apartments war in Ordnung.

Unsere Gastgeber Steve und seine Frau waren sehr gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit was die Planungen der Stadtbesichtigungen anging! Insgesamt haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Unterkunft mit sehr reellem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Lage auf der New Jersey Seite des Hudson-Rivers, spektakulärer Blick auf die Skyline von Manhattan nur 1 Strasse weiter. Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung an Manhattan: Abhängig von der Tageszeit und dem Verkehrsaufkommen braucht man 15 bis 25 min bis zum Busbahnhof (Port Authority Bus Terminal), von dem aus alle U-Bahnen und Buslinien erreichbar sind. Der Time Square befindet sich 2 min entfernt vom Busbahnhof. Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, die im selben Haus wohnen. Einweisung in die Busverbindungen und Sehenswürdigkeiten ist inklusive. Apartment besteht aus zwei Schlafzimmern (durch Vorhang getrennt) und einem kleinen Badezimmer mit Dusche. Die Küche wird gemeinschaftlich von allen Gästen des Hauses genutzt.

Nous avons passées un excellent séjour. Frida et Steeve sont des hôtes idéals car ils sont disponible mais pas omniprésent. La formule petit déjeuner inclu était vraiment la bienvenue. Tout était propre et agréable, bref une adresse que je n'oublierai pas et que je recommande!!!!

Couldn't have imagined a better place to stay! Steve and Frida are the nicest people and always very helpful. Like in the description written, you've got everything what you need nearby: Bank, several restaurants, supermarket, bus station... It's really only 10 minutes right to Manhatten, very close to Time Square. Just the awesome view on the Skyline is worth staying at this place! Phil & Simone from Hamburg, Germany
