House rules

VERY VERY IMPORTANT:

A. Please do not mention you've booked a room online with the doormen or neighbors of the building. If asked please just say you're staying with your friend Vic (me).

B. This condo is STRICTLY a NON SMOKING FLAT!

HOW TO GET THERE?
Once you have confirm your booking with me, I will send you via email a CHINESE write up for the taxi driver and let him take you to the right location.

If a pick up service had been requested, I will have someone waiting for you at the airport. For more information about pick up services, please message me and will give you a quotation.

Because of building rules I'll ask that you please wait for me and to not enter the building without me it creates unnessicary confusion with the doormen and may get you evicted from the premises meaning they won't let you stay. It is very simple to get around this by simply waiting for me to come meet you. Also please do not mention you've booked a room online with the doormen or neighbors of the building. If asked please just say you're staying with your friend Vic (me).

HOUSE RULES.
My house rules are very simple. Please treat the condo as you would your own and everything will be fine. Please let me know quickly if anything is broken so that I can fix it for you.

In the case that any of the below conditions are breached, I will require that you leave the apartment. Your damage deposit and any remaining monies will not be refunded.
- At all times, guests must conduct themselves respectfully in the communal spaces of the buildings such as, but not limited to the stairways, terraces and elevators.
- The apartment is in a RESIDENTIAL building and so the utmost respect should be given to your neighbours at all times.
- You must adhere to the quiet hours after late night.

Remember to switch off the power off AIR CONDITIONER and LIGHT before you go out.

CHECK IN
Check-in time is after 3:00pm.
Early check-in will depend on the booking on that day availability. For check-in earlier than 9:00pm there is a charge of HKD200 and only if availability permits.

Late check-in after 23:00 can be arranged, and MUST alert me up-front.


CHECK OUT
Check-out time is before 12noon.
Late check-out: If you need the apartment after 11am and the apartment is not booked on your check-out date, we can offer you a "day booking" at 50% of the normal cost. This will give you access until midnight on the same day. If the apartment is booked, or if you don't want to pay extra, you must return the keys by 12:00noon.

Our cleaning crew will arrive at 12 noon to service the flat for the next guest, thanks for your cooperation.

Early check-outs: If you want to leave very early in the morning after your final night in the apartment we will arrange a remote check-out. We will advise on how to leave the apartment, where to put the keys etc, and your damage deposit will be transfered to you within a week.


UPON ARRIVAL.
After confirming your booking, we will communicate through designated email address. I will ask you about your arrival flight details. This information is of great importance as it allows me to coordinate your reception with me. At this time we will provide the contact details at that time to greet you.

Additionally it is your responsibility to inform us of your arrival in Hong Kong, call me via cell (THERE IS FREE PHONE BOOTH) at the arrival hall of the Hong Kong Airport, we then will arrange a time to meet at the entrance of the building.


YOUR DEPARTURE.
Your departure will be discussed during your check-in and a plan agreed for the meeting to check out.

Please note that you can make IN TOWN CHECK IN at the Hong Kong Station and save you both time and stress, allowing you to check-in well ahead of your flight, sometimes up to a full day, and dump your luggage, which is a 15mins taxi from the condo. That way you would be free to explore the city on your last day, not having to worry about your luggage or rushing to the airport since you have already checked in, you will not have to be at the airport as early as everyone else.

I love this apartment so much! It makes me feel like im at home! Facilites in the room are so complete, clean and especially the design of the interior, they are so attractive! I like the kitchen so much! There are complimentary bottled water, juice, tea and coffee in the kitchen. And we found there is a warmer inside the room which we can use in the bathroom during this winter. The host is very friendly and nice too, he is willing to plan our trip and explain everything to us patiently. We really enjoyed staying there and it is really worth for staying. We will come back for next visit!

Wir waren vom 21.12.12 bis zum 4.1.2013 bei Victor zu Gast. Zusammenfassend kann ich sagen, daß es nicht eine einzige Kleinigkeit gibt, die zu bemängeln wäre. Das Appartment liegt in Sai Wan Ho und ist einen Block von der U-Bahnstation entfernt. Von Central-Station benötigt man ca. 25 Minuten, vom Flughafen ca. eine Stunde. Schon im Vorfeld hat Victor mit uns per Email und per What´s App Kontakt aufgenommen und uns bei der Anreise beraten. Als wir gelandet waren, haben wir ihm eine Meldung geschickt und als wir vor dem Appartment standen, war Victor pünktlich zur Stelle und hat uns das Appartment erklärt. Das Appartment liegt im 17. Stock, das Hochhaus ist von außen schon etwas abgewohnt. Aber in seinem Appartment ist wirklich alles 100% sauber und neu und mit ca. 32 m² relativ geräumig für zwei Personen. Der Blick auf den Victoriahafen entspricht genau dem beschriebenen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für eine so große Stadt wie Honkkong schon umwerfend. Wenn wir Probleme hatten oder Tipps brauchten, hat uns Victor immer sofort geholfen. Meist ging das per What´s App oder aber auch persönlich vonstatten. Wir hatten also nicht nur das Appartment gebucht, sondern eine Reiseberatung auf Abruf gleich mit. Wie oben schon gesagt, gab es wirklich keine Kleinigkeit zu bemängeln. Wir hoffen, das Victor immer nette Gäste hat, wir können das Appartment nur empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles Victor, Gruß P

Today is my last day in Victor's apartment and I really want to say that it is just perfect. All the equipments are quite new and clean so it's easy to feel like home. The decoration is ok too, modern and elegant. Also there are all kinds of stores and restaurants outside and It's one block away from the MTR station. And on the top of it, of course, the view is amazing ! First when I was considering to book an hotel room, I realized that unless you pay a very high price, you cannot be sure you won't have a room that looks like a dark dungeon ! :-) Obviously this is a big advantage using Wimdu, as you can see what you pay for and if it matches your expectations. For me, having a big view on the HKG was a must, and I have not been desapointed.

THE LIGHTHOUSE, Full Riverview 1BR Condo near BTS 4

We stayed at this property for the month of April and it became our second home. The apartment itself its beautifully put together and comfortable. At first, the location seemed a big out of Silom/Sathorn CBD but after a few days spent there you'll be glad of its peaceful location. Very reasonable price rate of what you get. There was one problem we encountered with money being stolen when the cleaning staff did their thing. This was raised with the very capable manager Mas and was promptly (and fairly stress free) resolved. And there is also now a safe deposit box as an outcome. Don't let that sway you however as we love this place and are returning in June.
