Beautiful private villa 300m from the magnificent Gale beach

The appartment/villa is small but ok for 6 persons. We had the appartment on the groundfloor. The appartment on the first floor was not rented during our stay, so we had the garden all for ourselves. We were with 2 adults and 4 childeren. We missed some equipment in the kitchen, like a coffee machine, carving board and decent frying pans. There were only 2 small frying pans. There is an electric cooker with 3 rings. So simply cooking is required. The microwave, oven, dishwasher and freezer were fantastic. The garden is large in contrary with the apparment itself. The swimmingpool is small but good enough although not cleaned during our stay, which is really necessary. At the end of our stay all kind of insects dead or alive were floating in the pool. We did not find any fishing net to clean the pool. The village Galé itself is very quiet, there were 2 supermarkets (as far as we found out), the beach and a few coffeecorners/restaurants. For amusement you have to go to Albufeira. Galé for childeren around the age of 12 is a dead village, nothing to do! The best way to discover the surroundings is to rent a car instead of bikes what we did. In short; we liked our stay, it was reasonable value for money but we should have rented a car.

First of all: Ana was very nice and very helpfull with organizing the trip. :) The house itself is - in general - very nice. It is the perfect place to spend a long weekend in a calm and beautiful surrounding yet only 10 minutes away (by taxi) from Albufeira itself (we paid some 13 Euros). It is smaller as it seems to be on the pictures and there are no proper beds for 7 people. There is one bunk bed, one double bed and the sleeping couch in a separate room. There is one more "sleeping couch" which can be used as a bed... The beds in general are not that comfy but were perfectly ok for the 5 nights we stayed there. The kitchen is very well equipped and we had a great BBQ. :-) The beach indeed is less than 5 minutes walking-distance away and is just STUNNING! With the beach so close by we only used the private pool maybe twice. But it is nice and clean. :) Everyone, enjoy your stay in Portugal! :)

Verry nice clean apartment in villa, complex of 4, heated suffic. Big sunny balconies, huge garden, Clean, fully equiped kitchen, Beautiful beatch nearby

Sehr schönes ruhig gelegenes Ferienappartment (Obergeschoss mit drei Terassen) in einer zwei-geschossigen Doppelhaushälfte incl. Pool in Steinwurfweite zum tollen Galé-Strand. Die ideale Startbasis für Strandtage oder Erkundigungen im Umland. Entfernung zu Albufeira ist ca. 5 km, Faro ca. 40km. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Vermieterin ist supernett!!!

Muy bien. Era lo que buscabamos. La casa estaba muy bien, muy cerquita de una playa muy bonita y también de la zona de fiesta... Puedes vistar mas o menos todo desde aqui.
