The nicely decorated studio holds a comfortable double bed and a dining area. A small kitchenette with a hob, fridge and microwave can be used to prepare light meals and snacks. Internet access and TV are available. The host lives in the townhouse.
You have to pay for parking throughout Copenhagen. I can recommend a place 8 min walk from my house, where it is free.
I live in my house with my daughter and it means that there is only one entrance and we are in the house during your stay.
Just 400 meters away are the Carlsberg Brewery. Walk for 15 minutes to Copenhagen Zoo. Central Copenhagen is a leisurely 20-minute stroll away. The beautiful Tivoli Gardens are reachable in the same distance.
Guests will find themselves in a quiet neighborhood, but close to the city. It has many different ethnic and Danish restaurants and cafes. Several specialty shops and supermarkets are also close by as well as a park with several jogging tracks. It is a 10-minute walk to train, bus and metro lines.

Reviews of this property
Very nice and clean (even for allergic people) studio in a nice and interesting surrounding. The fridge makes a lot of noise at night but this can be solved by plugging it out. Jane is a kind and correct host.
Beautiful house, nicely decorated (Danish style..:) a very helpful, kind host. Everything within easy reach by foot or bike. Would highly recommend!
Jane is a super guest! With her daughter, she helped us a lot, giving us a lot of information and advice, and she showed us a total availability.
Moreover, the apartment is very clean and exactly how it seems in the photos .
I highly recommend her apartment !!!
We stayed in Copenhagen only for two days and used our own bicycles to com to the city and back. We advise you, to do the same.
The flat was charming, simple und quiet as it was described. You have to pass the living room of Jane to get into the flat, but that is no problem. Unfortunately there is no more the possibility to park free with the car. So you have to pay a fee of about 30,- € to the city of Copenhagen
Jane was a wonderful, welcoming host!
She showed us all the best places to go in the city, and how to get around.
The studio was beautiful, even bigger and nicer than the photos show.
The bed was much bigger than it looks in pictures, and came with two separate duvets which was ideal. I am 6 foot tall and was very comfortable, which is rare when travelling Europe on a budget!
I would 100% recommend this as a place to stay for people who don't mind the 30 minute walk into the city centre every day. It's a really nice neighbourhood, with shops nearby, and easy public transport if the walking is too much.
Only downsides, a) the shower did take a long time to heat up, and even at it's hottest it wasn't very warm (but I do understand it was an old house!). Also, b) we had no curtains during our stay, so were woken up by the light every morning, but Jane explained that new ones were getting put in very soon, so I imagine for the next person to stay it won't be a problem.
Overall, a wonderful stay, thank you jane!
I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and stayed several days. Jane, the host, very nicely showed me the room and gave me a map of Copenhagen, where she drew all the important, exiting and worth seeing parts of the city. The studios location is very central in the city, but since it is in an area of city-houses, felt separated (what I liked). The pictures on Wimdu are fairly accurate, so the studio is as bright and open as it seems. I was told that the houses were originally designed for two families so there is enough room for one or two people saying there. The floor is made of wooden planks which creak at every other step you take. At the place where the in the description mentioned parking area should have been was a big construction side. Heavy machinery worked from Monday till Saturday, starting their shifts at 7 am. Since the bathroom was not fittet with any heating I was given a separate heater to warm up the room. I never used it because there is just no time in the morning to wait for a room to warm up. As someone who needs a warm shower in the morning I was quite frustrated with the shower situation. Even though the shower was (probably) capable of putting out warm water a combination of the cold room and the shower head instantaneously cooled down as if it wasn't warmed up in the first place.
The worst thing for me, however, was the refrigerator. At intervals of 30 minutes it started to roar for several minutes and stoped by vibrationally shaking the floor. It took me several night to get sort of used to it and did cost me lots of sleep.
All in all I would not recommend this place to my friends. Maybe I have just naively high standards, but for a place that costs 75€ per night (for one person) I expected better. I am sorry.
We enjoyed our stay at Jane's house very much. The flat was cosy and everything provided in the kitchen area. It was super clean and we even got several towels for free. The only thing we didn't like was that there are two separate beds instead of one big one.
For other guests we want them to know that parking in this area is extremly expensive! A good alternative is probably to come to Copenhagen via train or to look for park and ride places outside of the city. But that's of course not the host's fault.
We hebben een kort verblijf (2 nachten) bij Jane in haar appartement verbleven. Het was de eerste keer bij Wimdu maar het was goed bevallen. Prijs kwaliteit was uitstekend. Kamer was van alle gemakken voorzien en alles was goed verzorgd. Vooral de locatie van het appartement is zeer mooi gelegen in een oud deel van Kopenhagen en niet ver van het centrum. Voor een volgende keer komen we zeker hier weer terug.
