Charming Studio by Buttes Chaumont

Très agréable appartement, bien équipé et joliment aménagé dans un quartier calme, proche des buttes chaumont et du canal de l'Ourcq, accueil très sympathique. Petite terrasse bien agréable si la chaleur vient à monter dans l'appartement. A recommander.

Place was really small, nice and clean. Some construction in front of the house - therefore a bit noisy during day time. Kitchen was well equiped. Supermarket and bakery was not far away. Safe area. Just 5 minutes walk to the subway station. Herve is nice host. I felt a bit strange because of the 300 EURO because I did not receive any receipt after I paid it but finally I got everything back. TV was really old and small. Mainly french TV channels (no German TV channel). Internet connection was good.

Heel erg schoon en ruime studio. Goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt bei Hervé sehr genossen. Ruhig, gute Anbindung mit ÖPNV, ca. 20 Min zum Zentrum, gemütlich, f. 2 Personen absolut passend. Hervé ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbeteit. Merci !

Hôte très sympathique. Studio conforme aux photos publiées. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié : la douche spacieuse, la décoration soignée, la proximité des commerces et du métro. Ce séjour de 3 jours à Paris fut agréable et nous avons l'intention de revenir.

The apartment is neat and clean, in a quiet area, not far from the Metro. Fully equipped. Shower is very nice (double) :) Herve is very friendly and helpfull. We really felt at home during our stay!

Appartement très agréable, où l'on se sent bien chez soi avec toutes les qualités : confortable, spacieux, parfaitement équipé, très bonne literie . Et par-dessus très, très calme : pas de rue puisque le logement donne sur une très grande cour d'immeubles et voisinage également discret . Bref : un vrai havre de paix et de repos après une journée de visites certes formidable, mais également épuisante ! Je recommande vivement cet appartement à quiconque souhaite être très bien logé lors d'un séjour à Paris . De plus, très bon contact avec Hervé, ponctuel pour les rendez-vous de remises de clés et attentif à notre bien-être .

Great host, very helpful. Comfortable, clean apartment...about 160 sf. Apartment was well-equipped with under-counter fridge, 2-burner cooktop, combo microwave-convection oven, washer (but no dryer), wifi, television, couch/convertible bed, table & chairs for 4, plus table and chairs for 2 on balcony. Very nice bath with large shower. Nice neighborhood, many shops nearby and OURCQ Metro station 4 blocks away. Neighborhood is working class, not as well-maintained by city as center Paris, but very friendly.

My wife and I wanted to spend a couple days in the heart of Paris without spending a fortune on a hotel. We were in Europe for our honeymoon so we didn't want to stay in a dump. We got in touch with Herve and arranged to stay in his studio. It was a little bit further from the metro than anticipated, but it was a great place to stay. We were able to cook, do laundry, take hot showers, and sleep comfortably. We didn't spend a lot of time there because we were out visiting the city and if you plan to spend a lot of time in your apartment, this may not be the place to stay, but it was great for the two of us in between our activities. We had some trouble getting our luggage out of the airport when we landed in Paris so we were about an hour late to arrive at the studio but Herve was still there waiting for us and was very understanding and helped us with everything we needed. Check in and check out went smoothly. Herve was a phenomenal host. The whole studio was clean and I would highly recommend this to any body wanting to spend a few nights in Paris in a local non-touristic area of Paris. It is best for a couple or just a single person. There isn't really enough room for a group larger than that.

Das Studio ist sauber, komfortabel und komplett ausgestattet. In der Nachbarschaft findet man alles, was man braucht (Bäcker, Metzger, Supermarkt, Restaurants, Metro). Danke an Hervé, der ein sehr netter Gastgeber war.
