Large Flat near Brooklyn Museums

Our stay at Bergen St was very nice and we enjoyed it very much. Karen and her family where very friendly and caring. The area around the house is at first sight a little confusing. It looks like kind of a dangerous place. But actually it is pretty safe. Be attentive like everywhere. We felt comftable in the hood very fast. There are a couple grocery stores close to the aptartement. We recommend Super Foodtown at Fulton St. All in all we highly recommend to stay at Bergen St!

We enjoyed our stay in Brooklyn. The apartment is located in a nice neighbourhood and only a 10 minute walk from the subway to Manhattan. Karen and David are very helpful. I would surely recommend this apartment.

Bergen Street Apt. is about 25 minutes from lower Manhattan, including a 10 min walk to subway, apartment is basic but fine in a peaceful street, Karen and her husband are great, really friendly and helpful hosts. Recommended for budget travellers and families.

Nice comfortable appartment in Brooklyn, 2 public transport train lines nearby (5mins), also bus to the door if needed. Safe and friendly area. Excellent helpful and friendly hosts. Would not hesitate to come here again. Note walk through first bedroom to get to second bedroom.

We had a nice short time in Bergen's Best. Karen is a lovely person who showed us the neigberhood right when we arrived. The house is close to bus stops and subway.

Appartement très apréciable et spacieux car étant 7 nous ne nous sommes pas sentis à l'étroit, il manquerait cependant d'une salle de bain supplémentaire. Petite terasse bien sympa dans un quartier très agréable ou se mêle les diversités ethniques. À conseiller

Nous étions 2 couples fin 50aine. Tout était tel que décrit, aucune mauvaise surprise. Pour un aperçu du quartier promenez vous sur google street. 2 stations de métros accessibles à pied et un arrêt d'autobus directement sur le coin de la rue. Les hôtes Karen et David sont absolument charmants et demandez leur de vous refiler le nom des derniers bons restaurants du quartier, vous ne serez pas déçus. Pour un séjour à Brooklyn voilà une très bonne adresse.

Die Gastgeberin Karen ist sehr nett, hat uns viele Tipps gegeben. Außerdem war die Absprache zwecks Schlüsselübergabe problemlos. Das Apartment an sich ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, mit allem, was man benötigt. Alles erfüllt seinen Zweck (Geschirrspüler, Herd, Kühlschrank, Betten, Bad etc.). Um die Ecke gibt es gleich einen kleinen Laden mit Lebensmitteln. Zu den nächsten beiden Metrostationen sind es jeweils zwischen 5-8 Minuten. Alles in allem waren wir sehr zufrieden!

We had a great time in your appartement. David and Karen were a great help by the problems we had with our son in the wheelchair. David had a lot of nice suggestions for us. The appartment is good and spacious. For a wheelchair the badroom is a litle bit too smal, but we managed it together. There was too little cutlery in the kitchen. Some more would be very nice. The bus stop is right in front of the appartment. For us very convenient with the wheelchair. Busses are accesible for wheelchairs. Thanks to Karen and David for their hospitality. We would like to come again.

We have spend an excellent trip in the flat of Karen and David. The flat is well located in Brooklyn. It is very spacious and very fine for a family with 3 or 4 children. This location permits to explore an other zone than Manhatan and to have an other aspect of NewYork. We recommend to rent a flat with Karen who is very fine and his husband to.
