The apartment was clean and comfortable as usual. But the new greeting system with iambnb is a bit confusing and contradictory and impersonal too. Upon arriving I had to fill out a form on a small screen of a smartphone, while not a huge thing, was hard to see and difficult to make corrections when my finger could not tap exactly the small button. And then the information in the "iambnb welcome magazine" was contradicting what the cardboard iambnb information plackard was saying. For example...Please take out the trash yourself, but only on your trash day" but in the part of the magazine where i find the information for trash day was absent. Same for what to do with the keys and sheets. And I missed seeing the host, who is very pleasant and I would have liked to say hello to.
Have stayed in this apartment before, I chose again this apartment because the host is very friendly, always checking to make sure everything is ok, and the location is good.
The apartment was clean and very cosy. The host welcomes us very friendly even at 22:30 after the train was too late. The stairs are very narrow, but that’s typical for Amsterdam and it was a funny experience. Unfortunately the bedroom was bright early in the morning, because there are no useful curtains. The apartment was in a very nice quarter with bars and supermarkets.
So, all in all, we felt comfortable and recommend the apartment!
The flat is very spacious and clean, bed very comfy. Easy to get to from the airport and in a cool area with cafes and restaurants nearby. Josst waited up for us to arrive as we arrived wuite late and everything was straightforward. I recommend you hire bycicles (the place Joost recommended was fairly prices and the guys there really nice). Just beware of the two flight of stairs, they are quite step, but that's the Dutch way it seems.
Bright and comfortable apartment, furnished with everything that you need (towels, hair dry and so on...). Quite and beautiful location, not so far from the city centre.
Really nice appartement, very spacious for 2 persons and bright and nicely fournished! We absolutly enyojed staying there! The connection to the city center is easy and fast with trams nearby and to the Museumplein we could even walk as it is so closed. There are fantastic places to eat out around like the Omelegg, Le pain quotidien or an brasilian coffe shop.
Joost was very friendly and helpfull with advices where to go and what to see.
We would defnetly recomand Joost´s place and we would love to come back and stay there anytime soon!
Highly recommend. Not far away from the centre and the apartment definitely does the job, especially with the kitchen and being able to make your own food and saving money. Big plus is the Wifi included in the apartment. Will definitely recommend and more than likely return at some point.
The host is very friendly, the Apartment is convienently located, I enjoyed my stay very much. I missed having a water boiler for tea in the evening.
Nice apartment, great location and helpful host. This is the place for my future stays in Amsterdam!
