If you are looking for a centrally located apartment, 20 metres to Sagrada Familia, but travelling on a budget, this is the apartment for you. Unlike the rest of our apartments in Avinguda Gaudi, this apartment doesn't have a view to Sagrada Familia, but it has a big balcony with a little table and 2 chairs, and you can't hear the buzz of the street. The apartment "Gaudi Groc" is located on the 2nd floor. The building has a lift and it's located in the charming pedestrian Gaudi Avenue with many bars and cafés, only 20m from Sagrada Familia Temple and the entrance to the Metro, with 2 lines, perfectly connecting you to the rest of the city. The apartment accommodates up to 4-5 people and all the furniture is new, starting from flat-screen TV, comfortable mattresses, to fully equipped kitchen with an electric hob, oven, microwave, toaster, pots, pans, plates and cutlery. For all the people addicted to staying online, there is a WIFI internet connection, free of charge.
Sagrada Familia area is simply one of the best areas for your stay in Barcelona, since it has a great gastronomic offer with many restaurants, bars, cafes, while at the same time this area has kept the spirit of a typical Barcelona neighborhood, with many locals living here as well. The area is perfectly connected to the rest of the city, with two metro lines and many buses. The famous “Barcelona Bus Turistic” also stops right at the Sagrada Familia Temple.
This area is just beside the so called Quadrat d'Or (Golden Square) heritage district, you’ll come across a bustling, lively neighbourhood which is home to two Catalan art nouvea where some of the most important modernist buildings stand. Gaudi's masterpiece Sagrada Familia is just one street away from the apartment. This is not the only example of Gaudi's architecture, but the neighbourhood is also home of Hospital Sant Pau.
The neighbourhood is quite residential so it is very calm and safe. It is a neighbourhood where you can find a lot of trade, supermarkets, pharmacy, bakery, terraces, etc. Plaza Catalunya and Paseo de Gracia are only a few metro stops away from the apartment.
